METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DRYER
A method for controlling a dryer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an operation of, when a dusting mode is selected and a start command is input, rotating a drying drum at a first rotational speed V1 in a first direction for a first set time; an operation of, after the first set time elapses, rotating the drying drum at a second rotational speed V2 in a second direction opposite to the first direction for a first set time; and an operation of rotating a drying fan along with the drying drum, when the drying drum rotates in the second direction, dust staining on an object introduced into the drying drum is separated from the object, and when the drying drum rotates in the first direction, the separated dust is discharged to the outside of the drying drum by a forced air flow generated by the drying fan.
PRINTING WITH MOISTURE PROFILES
Provided in one example is a method. The method includes generating, using a processor, data of a negative of an image to be printed on a print medium. The method includes determining, using the processor, a moisture profile of a print job, which print job includes the image and the negative, using data of the image and the data of the negative. The method includes generating, using the processor, printing instructions of the print job using at least the determined moisture profile. The method includes printing the print job on the print medium using at least the printing instructions.
System and method for removing moisture from water laden structures
The invention provides an improved method of drying wet or water damaged surfaces using a vacuum source, a manifold, and a plastic sheet covered grid having a lattice formation with spaces to permit the passing of moisture and air from and beneath the surface to the vacuum source.

Cathodic protection for wood veneer dryers and method for reducing corrosion of wood veneer dryers
A cathodic protection system for use with a wood veneer dryer is provided. The system includes a DC power supply and an anode mounted inside the dryer in a position to be electrolytically coupled to metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer when an electrolytic medium is present inside the dryer. The electrolytic medium comprises a high-humidity atmosphere. A method for reducing the corrosion of metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer is further provided. The method comprises mounting an anode inside the dryer in a position to be electrolytically coupled to the metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer when an electrolytic medium is present. Wood veneer is conveyed through the dryer and heated to a temperature sufficient to produce a high-humidity atmosphere inside the dryer. A controlled amount of current is supplied by the DC power supply to electrolytically couple the anode to the metallic structures or surfaces.

Drying system
A drier for drying boards (32) comprises at least one conduit (34, 40) for directing airflow towards one of the faces of the board (32). The drier is configured such that at least a portion of the airflow travels across the face of the board (32) along the longitudinal axis of the drier, the longitudinal axis of the drier being the axis along which the board (32) travels as it is dried.
Method of manufacturing electrode for secondary battery and hot-gas drying furnace
Provided are a method of manufacturing an electrode for a secondary battery which can properly maintain the temperature of a hot gas while requiring a smaller amount of hot gas, and a hot-gas drying furnace used for the method. A control device calculates an amount of decrease in temperature of a hot gas at a blowing position of a nozzle (first position) based on a temperature of the hot gas at second position situated downstream of the first position and a temperature of the hot gas at third position situated downstream of the second position. The control device adds the amount to a set temperature of the hot gas at the first position to calculate a modified set temperature. The control device adjusts an output of a heater depending on a difference between the modified set temperature and the temperature at the first position.
Paint baking oven and paint baking method
A paint baking oven bakes a wet coating film applied to a vehicle body while conveying the vehicle body. The vehicle body has a main shell body to which side doors are attached via hinges. The topcoat paint baking oven includes a oven body and a hot air supplier that supplies hot air into the oven body. The oven body is configured to include a first oven body and a second oven body. The first oven body has a side-to-side width corresponding to a body width of the vehicle body in a state of closing the side doors. The second oven body has a width wider than the side-to-side width of the first oven body. The width of the second oven body corresponds to a body width of the vehicle body in a state of opening the side doors.
STEAM COMPRESSION DRYER
A dryer apparatus is disclosed comprising a container having a container inlet and outlet, a pump that is configured to motivate a first air-vapor mixture flow via the container inlet and via the container outlet, a heating device configured to heat the first air-vapor mixture, a selector with at least two states, a compressor that is configured to compress and motivate a part of the first air-vapor mixture flow as a second air-vapor mixture flow, to flow through a first heat exchanger and to flow through a second heat exchanger and a pressure reducing device that is configured to reduce the pressure of said second air-vapor mixture downstream said first heat exchanger. The selector is configured to direct most of the first air-vapor mixture to flow in a closed cycle through the container, or configured to exchange most of the first air-vapor mixture with air located outside the apparatus.
