An improved ventilated locker includes a pair of sidewalls and a a back wall connecting the sidewalls. A plurality of compartments is defined between the sidewalls, including at least an upper compartment and a lower compartment. A plenum is disposed adjacent the back wall, the plenum configured for connection to an existing HVAC system. At least one ventilation grille is carried by the back wall in fluid communication with at least one of the plurality of compartments and with the plenum. At least one circulation fan is disposed in one of the plurality of compartments to circulate air from the ventilation grilles through the plurality of compartments.

System and method for controlling the peripheral stiffness of a wet ceramic extrudate

The present disclosure provides a method of stiffening an outer layer of a wet extrudate, where the extrudate has a honeycomb cellular structure. The method includes extruding the extrudate through an extrusion apparatus and directing a substantially uniform flow of fluid onto the outer layer of the extrudate. The method also includes increasing the temperature of a binder material of the extrudate to its gelation point and stiffening at least the outer layer of the extrudate.

PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR PRODUCING WATER-ABSORBENT POLYMER PARTICLES AND BELT DRYER
20180086861 · 2018-03-29 ·

A production process for production of water absorbing polymer particles, including drying an aqueous polymer gel in a belt drier with a conveyor belt having a drier setup in the interior, in which drying air in the interior of the drier setup is conducted in countercurrent counter to the conveying direction and the interior of the drier setup is kept substantially at a reduced pressure relative to the ambient pressure outside the drier setup, and the interior has and/or forms a pressure zone, and is especially divided into a number of pressure zones.

Drying apparatus for use in a lithography system
09922801 · 2018-03-20 · ·

The invention relates to a drying apparatus for use in a lithography system for drying at least part of a surface on a first side of a planar target, such as a wafer. The apparatus has a drying device for eliminating liquid or droplets thereof from the first side of the planar target. The drying device has a first slit and a second slit arranged in close proximity of the target. A gap is present between the target and the drying device. Pressurized gas may be supplied via the first slit into the gap. The liquid may be discharged from the target by means of the pressurized gas through the second slit. The first and the second slit are configured to enable the pressurized gas to flow along the first side of the planar target substantially parallel to the planar target.

HAND DRYER

A hand dryer includes a nozzle for blowing out an airflow toward a drying space, which is open at the front and the left and right sides so that hands can be freely inserted and withdrawn, and a wind direction changing part that changes a direction of the airflow blown out vertically downward from the nozzle. The wind direction changing part is so positioned as to be shifted rearward in a front-back direction from a position on an extension of a blow direction of the nozzle. While the airflow is being blown out vertically downward from the nozzle, the wind direction changing part and the nozzle do not directly face each other.

BATHROOM BASE CABINET UNIT HAVING DRYING FUNCTION AND FOOT HOLDING FUNCTION
20180070722 · 2018-03-15 · ·

A bathroom base cabinet may include a blower device and a footstool for a drying function and a foot holding function. The bathroom base cabinet may perform a function of drying a bathroom floor by blowing wind in a direction of a floor surface of the bathroom, and a function of drying the body of a user by blowing wind in a direction of an upper surface of the footstool.

Method and device for encapsulating a fuel rod or a fuel rod section for temporary storage

A method for encapsulating a fuel rod or a fuel rod section in a container includes inserting the fuel rod or fuel rod section into the container. One of the ends of the container is connected to a purging-gas line. The container is dehydrated and purged by use of a purging gas. The ends of the container are connected to a bypass line in such a way that a closed gas circuit is produced and a hot gas is circulated in the gas circuit until the absolute moisture content reaches an end value at which the absolute moisture content no longer rises. The container is disconnected from the gas circuit and subsequently the container is closed in a fluid-tight manner at both ends.

SYSTEMS FOR AND METHODS OF DRYING THE SKIN OF A CELLULAR CERAMIC WARE
20180065275 · 2018-03-08 ·

Systems for and methods of drying a wet skin of a wet skinned ceramic ware are disclosed. The wet skinned ceramic ware includes a dry interior web with an outer surface. The wet skin is disposed on the outer surface of the dry interior web. The method includes generating an airstream and then directing the airstream through a first end of the wet-skinned ceramic ware only through an annular portion of the interior web that is adjacent the outer surface of the interior web. The flow of the airstream through the annular portion of the interior web causes moisture in the wet skin to migrate inwardly toward the interior web. The moisture is removed from the annular portion of the interior web when the airstream exits a second end of the ceramic ware, thereby drying the skin from the inside out of the wet-skinned ceramic ware.

TO PROVIDE HEATED GAS TO PRINTED MEDIA

Apparatus to provide heated gas to punted media. The apparatus includes a housing including: an inlet to receive gas from a fan; and an outlet defining at least one slot, shaped nozzle to provide heated gas to printed media, the housing defining a direct path between the inlet and the outlet. The apparatus also includes a heater positioned within the housing to heat gas from the inlet.
