Device for drying and crystallizing granulate
A method and device for continuously drying and crystallizing water-flushed granulate. The method comprises the steps of: feeding water-flushed granulate into a pre-dryer, pre-drying granulate in the pre-dryer, conveying pre-dried granulate into a dryer/crystallizer, and discharging crystallized granulate from the dryer/crystallizer. An air conditioning means produces temperature-controlled and humidity-conditioned air that is delivered to the dryer/crystallizer, wherein the exhaust air of the dryer/crystallizer is delivered to the pre-dryer, and wherein the exhaust air of the pre-dryer is returned to the air conditioning means forming a closed air circuit is formed by the dryer/crystallizer, pre-dryer, and air conditioning means. The device comprises a pre-dryer, a dryer/crystallizer, an air conditioning means, and optionally a control unit.
Self-supporting drying system and method
A hands-free dryer allows for drying of a target while permitting the hands of a user to not be controlling the operation of the hands-free dryer. The hands-free dryer includes a blower for providing air flow, an orientation system allowing the blower to be adjustably oriented at an angle. There is a semi-rigid flexible hose connected to the blower that retains its configuration without the user having to maintain the configuration. Also, there is a support system that provides support for the hands-free dryer while worn by the user.
DYE EXHAUSTION AND DRYER APPARATUS
An apparatus for dye application to textile manufactures, exhaustion of the applied dye, and drying of the textile manufacture. The apparatus, in some implementations, includes a dye applicator that applies dye evenly to a textile manufacture of varying length, one or more microwave elements for heating the textile manufacture with applied dye to exhaust the dye, and a blower system to dry the textile manufacture after application of the applied dye.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH THERMAL FLUID-CONTAINING SHAFT AND SHAFT-RIDING AUGER FOR SOLIDS AND SLURRIES
Serially connected heat exchange segments of a heat exchanger are stacked with ends of adjacent segments oriented oppositely. The segments have fixed pipes for heat exchange, pipe-riding shaftless auger flights for conveying feed material, and flanges for low-cost adjustment, removal and replacement of pipes and flights. Flights when arranged in arrays are arranged in pairs of counterrotating oppositely handed mutually cleaning flights. Rotary unions are unnecessary in this exchanger.
Process for ore moisture reduction in conveyor belts and transfer chutes
A process for ore moisture removal by exposure of the ore to a hot and dry air stream is described. Also described is a conveyor belt and a transfer chute adapted for the use of the above process. Among other aspects, the process has the function of reducing moisture in ores prior to the shipping stage of this material.
Heated air moving device
A heated air moving device for drying wet surfaces and materials includes a housing. A controller, a first power module and plurality of sockets are coupled to the housing. The first power module is operationally coupled to the controller. The sockets are operationally coupled to the first power module and are configured to couple electrically powered equipment to the first power module. An intake is positioned in a respective opposing side of the housing. A nozzle, fluidically coupled to the internal space, is coupled to the housing. A fan and a heater are coupled to the housing and is positioned in an internal space defined by the housing. The fan is configured to draw air through the intake and expel the air through the nozzle. The heater is configured to heat the air such that air expelled from the housing dries an area proximate to the housing.
STEAM DRIVEN DISH WARMER
A dish dryer/warmer which is powered by steam that is exhausted from a steam kettle. A hollow inserts fits into a spout on the kettle and a hose connects the spout to the dish dryer. The steam is then funneled into the dish dryer. A set of holders inside the dish dryer are mechanically activated based on what, so that if a dish is placed into a holder then steam will be discharged directly into that holder, thereby warming the respective dish. A plurality of such holders can be present inside the dish dryer and each one is selectively activated to discharge steam when an object is placed inside a respective holder. All of the holders in the dish dryer share the same steam source (the kettle or other source).
AIR NOZZLE AND COATER
Provided are an air nozzle and a coater. The air nozzle includes an air outlet chamber, an air return chamber, and an infrared light assembly, where the air outlet chamber includes an air outlet panel, the air outlet panel facing a substrate to be treated; the air return chamber is provided with an air return panel on a side facing the substrate, the air return panel being provided with a plurality of punch holes for communication with the air return chamber; the air outlet panel is configured to convey a medium inside the air outlet chamber to outside the air nozzle, and the medium enters the air return chamber through the air return panel after passing through the substrate; and the infrared light assembly is provided on a path of the medium entering the air return chamber.
Low profile design air tunnel system and method for providing uniform air flow in a Refractance window dryer
A low profile design air tunnel system and method for providing uniform air flow in a refractance window dryer are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a system comprises a conditioned air supply manifold that provides air into a drying chamber. The system has a drying belt directed through the drying chamber. A feed application tray at a first end of the drying belt applies a liquid to the drying belt. The system has an exhaust manifold located at the first end of the drying belt.
System and method for an enhanced hair dryer
A system and method for an intelligent hair drying/styling apparatus with user information transmission and storage capabilities is herein provided. The hair drying/styling apparatus houses a control circuit board and an infrared or temperature sensor (or camera) in order detect an individual's hair condition moisture level to determine a user specific, customizable dryer setting. The information detected by the sensor is stored locally, on a proximal Internet-enabled device, or on a remote or cloud-based server and accessed by the hair drying/styling apparatus through a wireless local area network connectivity function. This innovation will enable any number of hair professionals and or end consumers to improve styling and dry time. According to the present invention, energy usage is reduced to enable a more efficient design.
