Systems and methods for plant dehydration
A system for dehydration of organic material comprises a housing structure having an interior chamber, a supply duct, a dual trunk structure, a dry air intake, a central recirculation duct, and a plurality of side recirculation ducts. The side recirculation ducts each have a return plenum extending downward from a top recirculation duct and are configured to recirculate interior air contained in the chamber. The interior air enters the side recirculation ducts through the return plenums and is pushed upward and outward through the top recirculation ducts and back into the interior chamber. The interior chamber has a plurality of exhaust vents positioned in the upper region of its walls. A plurality of portable platforms positioned inside the interior chamber are configured to hold the organic material. The floor of the housing structure can include a plurality of tracks for loading, unloading and positioning the portable platforms.
Methods for maintaining a metered flow rate of fluid treated seed
A stream of seed may be maintained at a metered flow rate through multiple stages of a treatment process. These multiple stages include dispensing, first application of fluid, second application of fluid, and seed transport. Seed transport may be accomplished through a conveyor configured to maintain the metered flow rate while providing static mixing, drying, and conditioning of the treated seed. The metered stream of seed may be treated within a first treatment applicator where a first wet treatment is applied, transferred through the incline conveyor, and treated again within a second treatment applicator where a second wet treatment is applied. Overtreating in multiple stages may layer consecutive seed treatments around the treated seed. A predetermined amount of seed treatment may be applied to the coated seed based on the metered flow rate established. Maintaining the metered flow rate through multiple stages eliminates the need for multiple metering steps.
Incline belt conveyor with longitudinal belt guards and methods of preventing seed entering between the belt and a curvilinear structure
An agricultural incline conveyor having belt guards extending longitudinally through a curvilinear portion from a tail inlet to a head outlet. The belt guards protect linear edges of a belt within the curvilinear portion during mixing operations. A plurality of mixing baffles positioned within the curvilinear portion induce turbulent backflow of a metered stream of seed being transported through the curvilinear portion. The longitudinal guards prevent the loss of transported seed from entering between the belt and a trough of the curvilinear portion.
Can drying and moisture control system
A heating system for use with a can dryer or oven includes a gas burner, an electrical heating element, a heating chamber structured to heat cans using air heated by the gas burner and/or the electrical heating element, a circulation system structured to move air from the gas burner and the electrical heating element to the heating chamber, and a control system structured to selectively control the gas burner and the electrical heating element to switch between a first mode where the gas burner and the electrical heating element are active and both heat air provided to the heating chamber and in a second mode where the gas burner is inactive and the electrical heating element is active.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO RETROFIT CAN OVEN OR DRYER
A method to retrofit a gas can oven or dryer to make a hybrid can oven or dryer includes moving one or more existing components of the gas can oven or dryer to new positions, removing an existing combustion chamber of the gas can oven or dryer, disconnecting a gas burner of the gas can oven or dryer, installing a new combustion chamber in the gas can oven or dryer, the new combustion chamber accommodating the gas burner and one or more electric heating elements, electrically connecting the one or more electric heating elements, and modifying a control system of the gas can oven or dryer to utilize the gas burner and the at least two electric heating elements.
Disposable For A Spray Drying System
The present invention includes a spray drying disposable device for use in a spray drying system. The disposable has a spray drying head and a plasma drying chamber. The head has a spray dry nozzle assembly in fluid communication with the plasma source and the pressurized aerosol gas source. The pressurized gas flows in a vortex pattern that atomizes plasma droplets in the chamber. The head also includes a plenum has uniform air pressure of the drying gas. A baffle plate forms the floor of the plenum having drying gas jets that supply drying gas to the chamber. The atomized plasma droplets evaporate in the presence of the drying gas emitted from the jets to obtain dried plasma particles and humid air. A capture filter captures the dried plasma particles and allows the humid air to pass. The humid air passes through the gas outlet and the exhaust port.
FOIL RECOVERY APPARATUS
A foil recovery apparatus is provided and includes a base, a conveying device, and a collecting device. The conveying device includes a conveyor belt and a first roller set. The first roller set includes a first conveying roller and a second conveying roller. The conveyor belt is driven around the first conveying roller and the second conveying roller for transmission. The collecting device includes a storage bin and a carrying platform. The storage bin includes a pushing plate and defines a receiving cavity. The storage bin defines a first opening. The pushing plate and the first opening are located on two opposite sides of the receiving cavity, respectively, and the first opening is opposite to the pushing plate. The carrying platform includes a pressing plate. The storage bin is disposed at one side of the second conveying roller away from the first conveying roller.
Method for drying plastic material, and system for carrying out the method
In a method for drying plastic material in the form of granules, powder and the like, at least one drying air generator generates drying air which is conducted through plastic material situated in a drying bin. The drying air absorbs the moisture in the plastic material and exits from the drying bin as return air. An actual air quantity of the drying air supplied to the drying bin is detected by a flow measurement and regulated to a setpoint air quantity. An actual total air quantity of the drying air exiting from the drying air generator is regulated to a setpoint total air quantity. At least two drying bins are connected to the drying air generator by means of a drying air duct and a return air duct. In the drying air duct, there is an orifice plate flow meter, which is connected upstream of a motor-adjustable control valve.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a tub that defines a wash space configured to accommodate one or more objects to be washed, a sump that is configured to store wash water, a water supply pump that supplies the wash water to the tub, a base that is disposed below the tub, and provides a space to accommodate the sump and the water supply pump, an air supply device that is configured to supply air to the tub, a first filter that is disposed at the base and in fluid communication with the tub and the air supply device, a second filter that is disposed at the base and in fluid communication with the tub, and a water supply that is connected to the second filter and configured to supply the wash water.
