Garment property determination using robotic mannequin
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for garment property determination are disclosed. One or more movable portions of a mannequin are adjusted, thereby causing the mannequin to change from a first size to a second size. Signals are received from one or more sensors of the mannequin, and pressure readings applied to at least one location on an exterior surface of the mannequin are determined from the signals. Data that correlates at least a first pressure reading with the first size of the mannequin and that correlates at least a second pressure reading with the second size of the mannequin are stored.

AUTO-LOCKING BALL JOINT
An auto-locking ball joint includes a first elongate member, a ball, and a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes a receiver disposed at one end. The receiver has an inner surface that defines a well. The ball is rotatable disposed within the well. The ball is formed from a plurality of segments that are moveable relative to one another towards and away from a ball axis. The second elongate member is translatable along the ball axis. In a locked configuration, the outer surface of the ball frictionally engages the inner surface to prevent the ball from rotating within the well. In an unlocked configuration of the ball joint, the ball is rotatable within the well. The second elongate member is depressed along the ball axis to transition the ball joint from locked configuration to the unlocked configuration.
Robotic Mannequin System
A robotic mannequin system includes a plurality of articles of clothing. A mannequin is provided. The mannequin has a torso, a pair of arms, a pair of legs and a head. Each of the articles of clothing is worn on the mannequin such that the mannequin displays the articles of clothing. An actuating array is coupled to the mannequin. The actuating array is in mechanical communication with the arms, the legs and the head. The actuating array urges each of the arms, the first legs and the head to move with respect to the torso. Thus, the mannequin may mimic human motion. Each of the arms, the first legs and the head position the articles of clothing in a selected pose. Thus, the mannequin may enhance an appearance of the articles of clothing.

HUMAN FIGURE AND TRAY APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus which includes a structure which resembles a human being; wherein the structure has a head section, an arms section, a torso section, and a legs section; and further comprising a first tray fixed to the structure; and wherein at least a portion of the arms section is underneath the first tray, and supports the first tray. The apparatus may further include a second tray which is fixed to the structure at a location below the first tray. The apparatus may further include first and second members which are configured to hold a plurality of glasses below the second tray. The apparatus may further include a first and second devices having first ends and second ends opposite the first ends for attaching to the first tray and second tray to cause the first tray to support the second tray.

Method and system for custom tailoring and retail sale of clothing
Demonstrating a piece of real clothing to a customer to facilitate a trying-on and purchasing process includes: obtaining a set of data, representing the customer's body configuration, determining from the set of data a first standardized size for a piece of clothing that is a close match to the customer's body configuration, putting a first piece of real clothing with the first standardized size on a real mannequin with measurements corresponding to the set of data representing the customer's body configuration, obtaining a first image or set of images showing the first piece of clothing on the real mannequin; and presenting to the customer the first image or set of images showing the first piece of real clothing.
