Offgas Stream Direct Contact Condenser
Methods and systems for the dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons include a direct contact condenser to remove compounds from an offgas process stream. The reduction of compounds can decrease duty on the offgas compressor by removing steam and aromatics from the offgas. The dehydrogenation reaction system can be applicable for reactions such as the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to produce styrene, the dehydrogenation of isoamiline to produce isoprene, or the dehydrogenation of n-pentene to produce piperylene.

Fluid direct contact heat exchange apparatus and method
A fluid direct contact heat exchanger having a contact chamber with a source fluid inlet provided by a source fluid inlet pipe, a source fluid outlet provided by a source fluid outlet pipe, a transfer fluid inlet provided by a transfer fluid inlet pipe, and a transfer fluid outlet provided by a transfer fluid outlet pipe. The source fluid and the transfer fluid have substantially different specific gravities and the source fluid and the transfer fluid are each insoluble in the other. The heat exchanger incorporates a heat transfer inducement element in the contact chamber which has a rotatable inducer shaft and a transfer accelerator element attached to the inducer shaft.
DEAERATOR
A deaerator includes a tank, a spray unit, a steam supply unit, a bleed unit and a discharge pipe. The spray unit is disposed at an upper portion of the tank and configured to supply water to the tank. The steam supply unit is disposed inside the tank to supply steam to the tank. The bleed unit is disposed at the upper portion of the tank and adjacent to the spray unit. The bleed unit is configured to bleed air from an inside of the tank. The discharge pipe is configured to discharge water without air to an outside of the tank.

Tunnel type hybrid cooling steam recycling apparatus
A tunnel type hybrid cooling steam recycling apparatus includes: a housing; air-cooling heat exchanging plates disposed on an outer surface of the housing; a chamber, formed in the housing; a mesh steam tunnel disposed in the chamber; a steam inlet penetrating through the housing; spraying heads disposed in the chamber; and a water outlet penetrating through the housing. Steam supplied into the mesh steam tunnel through the steam inlet is condensed into condensed water. In a hybrid mode, the spraying heads provide cooling spray into the chamber to dissipate heat in a hybrid manner in conjunction with the housing and the air-cooling heat exchanging plates.
