MASS TRANSFER DEVICE CLEANING SYSTEM AND SPACER
A cleaning system for a mass transfer or cooling tower device having an enclosure, an air inlet and an air outlet in the enclosure, and first and second fill packs in the enclosure positioned between the air inlet and the air outlet. The first and second fill packs have peripheries that are positioned proximate to internal walls of the enclosure. The cleaning system includes an inlet connection mounted to the enclosure and a delivery piping system connected to the inlet connection. The delivery piping system includes a cleaning portion positioned within the enclosure between the first and second fill packs. The cleaning portion includes nozzles configured to direct a cleaning fluid onto the first and second fill packs.
COOLING WATER-SAVING DEVICE FOR COOLING TOWER, AND WET COOLING TOWER
Disclosed are a cooling water-saving device for a cooling tower, and a wet cooling tower. The cooling water-saving device comprises indirect heat exchange devices and a water collecting tank. The inner wall of a cooling tower shell is sealed by the water collecting tank. The indirect heat exchange device comprises a heat exchange channel and a heat insulation channel. The heat insulation channel penetrates through the bottom of the water collecting tank, and the bottom inlet of the heat insulation channel communicates with air entering from the bottom of the cooling tower shell. The heat exchange channel for shielding water drops is arranged at the top outlet of the heat insulation channel, and the top of the heat exchange channel extends into an air outlet in the upper part of the cooling tower shell. The lower outlet of the heat exchange channel communicates with a rain area.
Reduction of scale build-up in an evaporative cooling apparatus
In one embodiment, a plate for an evaporative cooler is disclosed. The plate may comprise a wicking material with an exposed surface and a sealed surface opposite the exposed surface. An impermeable barrier may be coupled to the sealed surface. One or more masks may line a portion of the exposed surface, wherein the masks may comprise an impermeable material. In some embodiments, the mask may be a strip of impermeable material and may be coupled to a flat area of the top surface. In further embodiments, the one or more masks may align with a liquid wick path of the wicking material. In further embodiments, the one or more masks may line the edge of perforations that pass at least partially through the plate.

SUCTION HOOD FLUME APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MODULAR HEAT EXCHANGE TOWER
The present disclosure relates to a modular heat exchange tower comprising a first module comprising a first basin disposed therein and a second module comprising a second basin disposed therein. The aforementioned modular heat exchange tower may also include heat exchange sections, which are disposed in the first module and the second module. The first module and the second module may be assembled prior to being transported to a job site and installed in the modular heat exchange tower.
