System for adjusting temperature of transmission oil, heat exchange assembly and valve assembly
A system for adjusting transmission oil temperature and a heat exchange assembly are provided. The heat exchange assembly includes a heat exchange core, a valve assembly, an adapter base, and a mounting plate fixed with the heat exchange core. The valve assembly is arranged in or partially located in a second passage of the heat exchange core. The valve assembly has a first valve port and a first notch. The heat exchange core further includes a through passage in communication with a fourth port. When a first valve port is opened, a third port is in communication with the fourth port through a first passage, the second passage, the first notch and the first valve port in turn. When the first valve port is closed, the third port is in communication with a fifth port through the first passage, the second passage and the first notch in turn.

Circular core for heat exchangers
A core arrangement for a heat exchanger includes a plurality of inlets arranged around an axis, a plurality of outlets arranged around the axis, and a plurality of bowed conduits arranged around the axis. The bowed conduits are structurally independent, connect the plurality of inlets to the plurality of outlets, bow outward from the axis between the plurality of inlets and the plurality of outlets, and provide thermal compliance to the core.
COOLING MODULE WITH LEAK DETECTOR AND RELATED SYSTEMS
In some respects, concepts disclosed herein generally concern systems, methods and components to detect a presence of a liquid externally of a desired primary flow path through a segment of a fluid circuit, e.g., throughout a cooling loop. Some disclosed concepts pertain to systems, methods, and components to direct seepage or leakage of a liquid coolant toward a lead-detection sensor. As but one example, some disclosed liquid-cooled heat exchangers incorporate a leak-detection sensor, which, in turn, can couple with a computing environment that monitors for detected leaks, and, responsive to an indication of a detected leak, invokes a task to control or to mitigate the detected leak.
RECEIVER DRIER AND ECONOMIZER INTEGRATION FOR VAPOR INJECTION SYSTEM
An integrated receiver drier and economizer (RDE) includes a tank having a hollow interior receiving a first flow of a refrigerant therein, the first flow of the refrigerant including a liquid phase of the refrigerant accumulating within a liquid containing portion of the hollow interior of the tank. An economizer receiving a second flow of the refrigerant through an interior thereof is at least partially submerged in the liquid containing portion of the tank. The economizer forms a heat exchanging structure configured to exchange heat between the first flow of the refrigerant passing over an exterior of the economizer and the second flow of the refrigerant passing through the interior of the economizer. A desiccant is disposed in the liquid containing portion of the tank downstream of the economizer with respect to the first flow of the refrigerant through the hollow interior of the tank.
Microchannel heat exchanger having auxiliary headers and core
Disclosed is a microchannel heat exchanger comprising a primary core including a first header and a second header and a secondary core including a first auxiliary header and a second auxiliary header, further comprising a first header interconnect extending between the first header and the first auxiliary header and having a first interconnect fluid passage extending therethrough; and a second header interconnect extending between the second auxiliary header and the second header and having a second interconnect fluid passage extending therethrough.
Heat exchanger with adjustable guiding elements between tubes
A heat exchanger, in particular an oil-air cooler, for heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid, having at least a first row and a second row of tubular elements for the first fluid, a flow channel for the second fluid between the first and second rows of tubular elements; a collection vessel at one end of the tubular elements; and a distribution vessel at the other end of the tubular elements. Guiding elements for guiding the second fluid extend along the flow channel between the outer sides of adjacent tubular elements of the first and second rows of tubular elements. At least one adjustment device is provided for adjusting the relative position of two guiding elements about a pivot axis.
