Heat exchanger plate and a plate heat exchanger
The invention refers to a heat exchanger plate and a plate heat exchanger. The heat exchanger plates are arranged beside each other in the plate heat exchanger to define several first plate interspaces for a first medium and several second plate interspaces for a second medium. Each heat exchanger plate comprises a heat transfer area, an edge area, which extends around and outside the heat transfer area, and a functional device, which is configured to receive or produce a signal. The heat exchanger plate also comprises a communication module provided on the heat exchanger plate. The communication module comprises an electronic circuit connected to the functional device and a module antenna. The communication module is configured to permit wireless communication of the signal with a master unit via the module antenna.
Heat exchanger with annular inlet/outlet fitting
A heat exchanger has first and second flow passages with a communication passage therebetween. An inlet/outlet opening in a wall of the first passage receives a one-piece inlet/outlet fitting having an inner tube and an outer ring connected by webs, the tube and ring defining inner and outer flow passages in direct flow communication with the first and second flow passages, respectively. A first end of the tube and an outer surface of the ring are provided with resilient sealing members for sealing within a bore of a coolant manifold. The ring has a planar sealing surface which is sealed to the wall of the first passage, and the second end of the inner tube extends through the first fluid flow passage and is sealed inside the communication passage. Lateral adjustment of the fitting within the inlet/outlet opening compensates for stack-up tolerance variation in the heat exchanger.
FLAT PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A flat plate heat exchanger module for use in aerospace applications, automotive applications, industrial applications or similar. The flat plate heat exchanger module comprises a stack of heat exchanger plates, where at least one of the heat exchanger plates further comprises at least one elongated aperture extending across the surface of the heat exchanger plate. This elongated aperture is in fluid isolation from the fluid flowing across the surface of the heat exchanger plate. The use of at least one elongated aperture throughout the stack of heat exchanger plates minimises the overall effect of the expansion and contraction of the metal due to exposure to high temperature gradients. A method of manufacturing such a heat exchanger module is also provided.

DEVICE FOR USE IN REFRIGERATION OR HEAT PUMP SYSTEM, AND REFRIGERATION OR HEAT PUMP SYSTEM
A device for use in a refrigeration or heat pump system. A device includes an outer casing which includes a longitudinal cylindrical shell and end plates arranged at both ends of the shell, and at least three units of the refrigeration or heat pump system arranged inside the same common outer casing, which units are selected from the group consisting of an evaporator, a superheater, an economizer, a condenser, a desuperheater, a sub-cooler and an oil cooler.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FACILITY
A method of constructing a plate fin heat exchanger includes joining a first side bar formed from a nickel-iron alloy to a first end of a fin element formed from a nickel-iron alloy through a first nickel-iron alloy bond, and joining a second side bar formed from a nickel-iron alloy to a second end of the fin element through a second nickel-iron alloy bond to create a first layer of the plate fin heat exchanger. The fin element defines a fluid passage.
PLATE IHX AS MOUNTING PLATE FOR REFRIGERANT MODULE
An internal heat exchanger (IHX) assembly for use in a vehicle includes at least three plates joined together to form two or more separate compartments or channels and at least one flat structure on an external surface of the IHX assembly. One compartment or channel contains a high pressure fluid and the other compartment or channel contains a low pressure fluid. The compartment or channel containing the high pressure fluid is in thermal communication with the compartment or channel containing the low pressure fluid, such that heat is transferred from the high pressure fluid to the low pressure fluid. The IHX assembly acts as a structural member in the vehicle upon which one or more refrigerant components are mounted onto the flat structure.
MANIFOLD INTEGRATED INTERCOOLER WITH STRUCTURAL CORE
A heat exchanger for a vehicle includes an inlet tank configured to receive air from an air circuit of the vehicle. The heat exchanger further includes a heat exchange assembly disposed intermediate the inlet tank and an outlet tank. The heat exchange assembly exchanging heat between the air and a coolant. The outlet tank is configured to directly couple to an engine block of the vehicle and convey the air to the engine block. The outlet tank has at least two openings formed therein. The openings are configured to communicate with corresponding cylinders of the engine block of the vehicle.
Heat recovery system having a plate heat exchanger
A heat recovery system has an evaporator in which a working medium is evaporated, an expander by means of which energy from the working medium in vapor form is made usable, a recuperator operating as an internal heat exchanger, a condenser that condenses the working medium in vapor form, and a pump to move the working medium through a circuit. At least one plate heat exchanger with flow channels formed in interspaces between the heat exchanger plates is provided as a component of the system and includes at least the recuperator and the condenser.
REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE
A refrigeration cycle device has a compressor, a radiator, an auxiliary heat exchanger, a decompressor, an evaporator, and an interior heat exchanger. The auxiliary heat exchanger performs a heat exchange between refrigerant and air and causes the refrigerant to radiate heat. The evaporator performs a heat exchange between air and refrigerant after being decompressed in the decompressor before the air is heated in the auxiliary heat exchanger. The interior heat exchanger has a first heat exchanging portion and a second heat exchanging portion and performs a heat exchange between refrigerant flowing in the first heat exchanging portion and refrigerant flowing in the second heat exchanging portion. The first heat exchanging portion is disposed in a refrigerant path between the radiator and the decompressor and is connected to the auxiliary heat exchanger in series. The second heat exchanging portion is disposed in a refrigerant path between the evaporator and the compressor.
