A chemical storage tank assembly for storing sulfuric compounds includes a plurality of bricks that is each comprised of basalt. In this way each of the bricks can resist ingress of sulfuric compounds into the bricks. The plurality of bricks are arranged to define a floor, a plurality of walls and a roof of a storage tank to contain sulfuric compounds. A grout is positioned between each of the bricks for binding the bricks together to define the storage tank. Additionally, the grout is comprised of calcium silicate to resist the ingress of sulfuric compounds into the grout.

Pressure vessel with barrier layer

A pressure vessel includes a first container and a second container surrounding the first container and including a fluid port. The pressure vessel further includes a barrier space extending between the first container and the second container and a leak detection mechanism connected to the fluid port on the second container that is configured to detect a leak in the pressure vessel.

Cooler

The present disclosure provides a technique related to a cooler including a main channel in which an object to be cooled is attached to an upper surface thereof, and a structure which prevents air bubbles from entering the main channel. A cooler for cooling an object may include: a main channel in which coolant flows, wherein the object is attached to an upper surface of the main channel; and a sub channel bypassing the main channel, wherein a ceiling of the sub channel is higher than a ceiling of the main channel at a branch point between the main channel and the sub channel. Air bubbles trapped in the coolant flow into the sub channel having a higher ceiling height, thus they do not enter the main channel.

Heat pump apparatus and method for installing the same

A heat pump apparatus includes: a refrigerant circuit which circulates refrigerant; a heat medium circuit which makes a heat medium flow; a heat exchanger which cause heat exchange to be performed between the refrigerant and the heat medium; and an indoor unit which houses at least the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a double-wall structure. The indoor unit includes a container which houses the heat exchanger. In the container, a first opening port is formed to communicate with an outdoor space without communicating with an indoor space.

Double-pipe heat exchanger including integrated connector

A double-pipe heat exchanger including a heat exchange pipe and an integrated connector. The heat exchange pipe may include an inner pipe forming a first flow path, and an outer pipe accommodating the inner pipe therein and forming a second flow path outside the inner pipe. The integrated connector may include a main body including, at one side thereof, a heat exchange pipe engaging part with which one end of the heat exchange pipe is combined, a first connector flow path portion formed to be connected to the first flow path and discharging a first fluid flowing from the first flow path to an outside of the main body, and a second connector flow path portion formed to be connected to the second flow path and supplying a second fluid from the outside of the main body to the second flow path.

COOLING RECOVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD

A cooling recover system and method are disclosed. A fluid, such as water, is chilled and provided to a cooling coil to cool and dehumidify air passing over the cooling coil. The fluid is output from the cooling coil through an outlet, and at least a portion of the fluid from the outlet of the cooling coil is provided to an inlet of a heat transfer coil to reheat air passing over the heat transfer coil. The fluid is warmed as it passes through the cooling coil, which warmer temperature serves to reheat the air passing over the heat transfer coil.

Pipe and device for thermally cleaving hydrocarbons

The invention relates to a pipe for thermal cracking of hydrocarbons in the presence of steam, in which the feed mixture is guided through externally heated pipes, wherein the pipe extends along a longitudinal axis and has a number N.sub.T of grooves that have been introduced into the inner surface of the pipe and extend in a helix around the longitudinal axis along the inner surface, the inner surface into which the grooves have been introduced, in a cross section at right angles to the longitudinal axis, has a diameter Di and a radius r.sub.1=Di/2, the grooves in the cross section at right angles to the longitudinal axis, in their groove base, each have the form of a circular arc and the circular arc has a radius r.sub.2, and
the grooves each have a groove depth TT which, in the cross section at right angles to the longitudinal axis, corresponds in each case to the smallest distance between the circle having the diameter Di on which the inner surface lies and the center of which lies on the longitudinal axis, and the furthest removed point of the groove base of the grooves from the longitudinal axis.
