Power conversion device, motor including the same, air conditioner having the motor incorporated therein, and ventilation fan having the motor incorporated therein
A power conversion device includes a printed circuit board, whose mounting surface is opposite to an annular surface formed by an annular stator that constitutes a motor, arranged to be separated from the annular surface with a predetermined distance, and mounted with a Hall element that detects a rotation position of a rotor of the motor on a mounting surface on a side of the stator; an inverter IC that is mounted on the mounting surface on the side of the stator of the printed circuit board to supply a high-frequency current to the stator; and an overheat detection unit that is mounted on the mounting surface on the side of the stator of the printed circuit board and detects an overheated state of the inverter IC. When the overheat detection unit detects an overheated state, the inverter IC restricts or stops a current to be supplied to the stator.

Method and Apparatus for Reclaiming Heat During Liquid Purification Using Heat Exchanges
A system capable of providing a liquid purification process using heat regenerating or recovering via heat exchangers (“HEs”). The system, in one embodiment, includes a first set of thermal conductive channels (“TCC”), a second set of TCC, and a third set of TCC. The first set of TCC configured in a first HE is arranged in cylindrical shape which is able to surround or enclose a boiler. A function of TCC is to guide a liquid flow traveling through an HE. The second set of TCC configured in a second HE guides a second liquid flow traveling through the second HE. The third liquid flow such as a cold water stream, for example, flows through the third set of TCC adjacent to the first set of TCC and extracts heat from the first liquid flow such as hot purified water via TCC.

FLAT TUBE FOR HEADER-PLATELESS HEAT EXCHANGER
A flat tube for a header-plateless heat exchanger has an inner plate and an outer plate that are each press-molded from a metal plate and are curved/folded into a groove shape comprising a groove bottom section and two side wall sections. Both plates are such that the outer plate is fitted to the outside of the inner plate in a manner such that the groove bottom sections oppose each other, and an expanded opening in the thickness direction is formed at both ends of the plates.
Steam Generator Coolant Header with U-Shaped Tubes of a Horizontal Heat-Exchange Bundle and Methods of Its Manufacture
This invention relates to electric power industry, and can be used in horizontal steam generators for nuclear power plants (NPP) with a water-water energetic reactor (VVER). We claim a steam generator primary circuit coolant header with U-shaped tubes of a horizontal heat-exchange bundle designed as a thick-wall welded vessel with a perforated central cylindrical part designed so as to allow installation and fastening of a U-shaped heat-exchange tube bundle in the same, wherein the tubes are grouped into banks and separated by vertical inter-tubular tunnels, a lower cylindrical part designed so as to allow welded connection with the steam generator vessel connection pipe, and an upper cylindrical part with a conical adapter to the flange connection of the manhole with a lid, wherein primary circuit header outer diameter D.sub.head in the central part is selected based on formula.
The technical result of the invention involves assurance of strength of the header wall bridges between holes for fastening of heat-exchange tubes and leaktightness of heat-exchange tube connections with the header assuming that the outer surface of the perforated header part is more efficiently (fully) used for tubing.
