Electronic device and rotating base driving method
An electronic device including a first body, a rotating base, and a rotating base driving system is provided. The rotating base is pivoted to the first body and suitable for rotating between a using position and a retracting position with respect to the first body. The rotating base driving system is adapted to determine an operation status of the electronic device to control a movement of the rotating base with respect to the first body.
Illuminated mirror device and method for controlling illumination thereof
Provided is an illuminated mirror device including: a mirror; a light-emitting part for illumination disposed near the mirror; and driving means for driving the light-emitting part, and detection means for detecting a direction of a face of a person in front of the mirror with respect to the mirror, wherein the driving means controls an emission luminance distribution on a light-emitting surface of the light-emitting part on the basis of the face direction detected by the detection means. Also provided is a method for controlling illumination thereof.

Mirror For Applying Eye Cosmetics
A magnifying cosmetic mirror for use in applying cosmetics at the eye. The cosmetic mirror is constructed to have a base mirror and side mirrors extending at obtuse angles from opposite sides of the base mirror. The side mirrors are constructed as magnifying mirrors, such as spherical concave mirrors, of a focal length that provides a magnifying view of the eye when placed above the base mirror. The magnification of the side mirrors is selected according to the separation of the side mirrors from one another, and the angles at which they extend from the base mirror.

MULTIPURPOSE VANITY
The present invention discloses a multifunctional vanity that can be used for myriad purposes. It is self-contained within a housing, and is therefore portable. The exterior of the vanity can be made to look like a furniture piece appropriate for the environment in which it is located. The vanity can be used as a typical vanity, that is a place to dress, perform grooming functions and the like, or as a standing desk or other counter space. The vanity includes multiple functionalities that have heretofore never been assimilated into a single unit. By way of example, the vanity allows users to dress, groom, work on a computer or tablet, listen to music or other audio, iron clothes, store items, work at a desk, eat or drink, and so forth. The vanity can be accommodated for various users including physically challenged persons, the elderly, children, and outdoor users by making only slight modifications to the component parts used therein.
Positive locking hanging system
A positive locking hanging system is specifically adapted for locking a panel to a wall. The system includes a first elongated mounting member that is configured to be mountable to a wall, and a second elongated mounting member configured to be attachable to a panel. When the first elongated mounting member and the second elongated mounting member are engaged, notches in the first and second elongated mounting members are aligned to form a locking channel. A user may lock the second elongated mounting member to the first elongated mounting member (i.e., lock the panel to the wall) by inserting a locking element into the locking channel. The locking element constrains the movement of the elongated mounting members which results in the panel being locked to the wall. As a result, this may address seismic concerns such as an earthquake, and may prevent a thief from merely removing the panel from the wall when the locking element is inserted.
PARTITION TECHNOLOGIES
A device comprising a partition with various functionalities and uses.
Tile with magnetic type material and covered with a layer of parchment and process thereof
The present invention relates generally to a tile or panel having at least one magnetic material embedded therein, and fully or partially covered with at least one layer of parchment. The invention also encompasses at least one discrete permanent magnet that is placed at an appropriate location within a panel or tile, and wherein at least a portion of the panel or tile and the at least one magnet are then optionally covered with at least one layer of at least one barrier material, and then at least one parchment layer partially or fully envelopes this assembly. The inventive tile having at least one magnetic type material can have at least one indicia or design on at least one surface, and the inventive tile can be magnetically attached to a wall or another panel having at least one magnetic type material to form a wall or panel surface.
