Systems and methods for deployment, storage, transport of expandable room dividers. The systems may include a frame configured to lock room divider panels compactly stacked against each other for storage and transport. The frame may retain a non-releasable panel and maintain it vertically upright. That panel may be hinged along a non-retained vertical edge to a closest of a plurality of panels movable with respect to the non-releasable panel. The plurality's panels are serially hinged together, accordion-like, along vertical edges. Hinge angles between adjacent stacked panels are approximately zero degrees. Movable panels are sequentially moved from the frame by user-control opening a locking mechanism. Hinge angles between adjacent panels of the plurality of moved panels, and between the non-releasable panel and its adjacent movable panel, are increased to expand the room divider. The locking mechanism gates return of panels to, and when unopened blocks their movement from, the non-releasable panel.

A privacy screen attachment apparatus can include a connection mechanism configured for attachment or releasable attachment to a bottom of a work surface and/or a perimeter edge of the work surface for retaining a privacy screen body at the perimeter edge of the work surface so the body extends above the work surface. In some embodiments, the screen body can include the connection mechanism such that a portion of the screen body is foldable for attachment to the bottom of the work surface while a lower portion above the foldable portion is attachable to the perimeter edge of the work surface. In other embodiments, the connection mechanism can be a separate element that is positioned to retain or otherwise position a lower edge portion of the privacy screen body adjacent the perimeter edge of the work surface and/or in contact with the perimeter edge of the work surface.

A privacy screen attachment apparatus can include a connection mechanism configured for attachment or releasable attachment to a bottom of a work surface and/or a perimeter edge of the work surface for retaining a privacy screen body at the perimeter edge of the work surface so the body extends above the work surface. In some embodiments, the screen body can include the connection mechanism such that a portion of the screen body is foldable for attachment to the bottom of the work surface while a lower portion above the foldable portion is attachable to the perimeter edge of the work surface. Retractable drawstrings extending through seams of the panels allow for adjustment of the height and width of the nursing chamber. A skeletal frame member extends through a continuous sleeve along the peripheral edges of the fabric panels allowing the privacy shield to be collapsed under tension into a compact arrangement for transport and storage, and expanded in a “pop-open” action, wherein the frame member holds the arrangement of fabric panels taut in surrounding relation to the interior privacy chamber. An arrangement of straps with releasable fasteners allows the privacy shield to be secured to a baby stroller, chair or other structure.

A system for reversibly dividing a space is disclosed. A first panel consists of a first vertical member and a first horizontal member attached perpendicular to a bottom end of the first vertical member and extends away from the first vertical member towards a second panel. The second panel consists of a second vertical member and a second horizontal member attached perpendicular to a top end of the second vertical member and extends away from the second vertical member towards the first panel. The first and second panel can be stored in an overhead position. The space is reversibly divided when the first panel and the second panel are lowered. The first panel is lowered such that the first panel forms a top portion of a wall. The second panel is lowered until the second horizontal member rests on the first horizontal member, forming a bottom portion of the wall.

A desk top safety partition preferably includes a sheet frame, a clear flexible sheet and a pair of legs. The sheet frame includes a pair of vertical poles, a pair of horizontal poles and four pole connectors. Each pole connector includes a side hole and a lengthwise bore. The side hole and the lengthwise bore are sized to receive the poles. Two pole connectors are pushed on to each end of a horizontal pole to form a top support and a bottom support. The clear flexible sheet includes pole loops to receive the vertical poles. Each leg preferably includes a leg pole and three pole connectors. A bottom of the vertical poles are inserted into pole connectors of the pair of legs. A C-shaped safety partition includes three sheet frames, three clear flexible sheets, a plurality of pole connectors and a plurality of routing clamps.

A desk top safety partition preferably includes a sheet frame, a clear flexible sheet and a pair of legs. The apparatus is designed in such a way that the wall (3) is positioned above the workstation (2) in question and the wall (3) can be lowered in order to shield the workstation (2) if required.
