Automatic cleaning of adiabatic condenser cooling pads

An adiabatic cooling system includes a condenser coil and one or more adiabatic pads positioned such that intake air for the adiabatic cooling system passes through the pads prior to contacting the condenser coil. The adiabatic cooling system includes a vibration device attached to each adiabatic pad. A controller is communicatively coupled to the vibration device for each of the adiabatic pads. The controller determines that cleaning of the adiabatic pads is needed. In response to detecting cleaning is needed, the controller causes the vibration device attached to each adiabatic pad to vibrate, thereby causing debris in the one or more adiabatic pads to become loosened and/or removed from the adiabatic pads.

CLEANING OF A 3D PRINTED ARTICLE
20200217603 · 2020-07-09 ·

The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for cleaning a 3D printed article, in particular a 3D printed heat exchanger. After 3D printing, an article may have internal passages formed from bonded powder and said passages may contain unbonded powder that needs to be removed before further use of/processing of the article. To remove this unbonded powder, the article is filled with a cleaning fluid and vibrated. The cleaning fluid is then pumped out of the article and past a sensor that generates a magnetic field. The sensor detects the presence of powder particles in the fluid by detecting a perturbation of the magnetic field caused by said particles. The fluid is then filtered and returned to a reservoir for use. The sensor may indicate the article is sufficiently clean when a detected concentration of particles in the fluid drops below a threshold.

A cleaning system for removal of contaminants from a surface of a vehicle component exposed to a gas or fluid flow, the cleaning system comprising: an excitation device adapted to be attached to the vehicle component in the vicinity of the surface exposed to contaminants, wherein the excitation device is configured to cause the surface to mechanically vibrate by transferring a vibrational excitation to the surface; wherein the frequency of the vibrational excitation is controllable to be based on the configuration of the vehicle component as well as other modelled/measured parameters.

FLUID FLOW DEVICE CLEANING METHOD AND FLUID FLOW DEVICE

Provided is a method for cleaning an arbitrary fluid channel in a fluid flow device including a channel-forming body forming a plurality of fluid channels, a first header, and a second header. The method includes opening a cleaning-target channel included in the plurality of fluid channels and closing a non-cleaning-target channel which is the other fluid channel; and supplying a cleaning liquid to a cleaning-liquid supply header selected from the first header and the second header in a state where the non-cleaning-target channel is closed to cause the cleaning liquid to flow only through the cleaning-target channel.

Boiler ash remover based on combined flow

A boiler ash remover based on a combined flow includes a frequency-adjustable acoustic flow generator, a fixing bracket, a compressed air source, a three-way air-source electric-control valve, an air jet generator, an acoustic-jet combined transmission tube, an acoustic jet intelligent control system, and a scale measurement and control sensor. The compressed air source is connected to an inlet end of the three-way air-source electric-control valve. An outlet end of the three-way air-source electric-control valve is connected to the frequency-adjustable acoustic flow generator and an air source inlet end of the air jet generator respectively. An acoustic flow outlet end of the frequency-adjustable acoustic flow generator is connected to an inlet end of the acoustic-jet combined transmission tube. An outlet end of the acoustic-jet combined transmission tube and a jet outlet end of the air jet generator are both disposed opposite to an external heat exchange component by means of the fixing bracket. The area of an acoustic flow transmission orifice at the outlet end of the acoustic-jet combined transmission tube covers that of a jet injection orifice at the jet outlet end of the air jet generator. The acoustic jet intelligent control system is connected to an electric control device of the three-way air-source electric-control valve and the scale measurement and control sensor respectively. The scale measurement and control sensor is disposed on the external heat exchange component. The boiler ash remover has the advantages of combining a frequency-adjustable acoustic flow with an air jet and implementing acoustic jet intelligent control, and has a desirable effect of removal of scales in a hearth or a flue gas heat exchanger.
