A METHOD FOR CLEANING OF A DEVICE

Disclosed are methods for cleaning of devices, such as heat exchangers, in particular to methods wherein machine learning systems, such as trained neural networks are used for indicating the fouling status the during the cleaning processes.

ROTARY TOOL WITH SMART INDEXING

Water-jet cleaning system and a method of cleaning a heat exchanger. The equipment includes a rotary tool having a lance with at least two degrees of freedom. The lance's movements relative to openings defined in the heat exchanger face plate are controlled via a smart indexing controller. The controller includes an electronic communication device that is specifically programmed to selectively activate various components of the rotary tool and a water delivery system. The programming utilizes an observed, learned, or uploaded pattern of the heat exchanger tube openings to selectively rotate the lance relative to the rotary tool's mounting assembly or linearly move the lance towards or away from the mounting assembly. The controller moves the lance to align a nozzle thereon with a selected opening in the face plate and then delivers a high pressure water jet therethrough.

Method and device for cleaning tube bundles

A method and a cleaning device for cleaning tubes of tube bundles, wherein at least one rotating cleaning lance is used. During the insertion of the cleaning lance, the insertion depth E of the cleaning lance is measured and is stored and documented in a storage and documentation device. The cleaning device has an XY displacement device, on which a support rail is arranged, which supports a cleaning apparatus.

Thermoelectric deposit monitor

Fluid flow systems can include one or more thermoelectric devices in contact with the fluid flowing through the system. One or more thermoelectric devices can be operated in a temperature control mode and a measurement mode. Thermal behavior of the one or more thermoelectric devices can be analyzed to characterize a level of deposit formed on the thermoelectric device(s) from the fluid flowing through the system. Characterizations of deposition on thermoelectric devices operated at different temperatures can be used to establish a temperature-dependent deposition profile. The deposition profile can be used to determine if depositions are likely to form at various locations in the system, such as at a use device or in a flow vessel. Detected deposit conditions can initiate one or more corrective actions that can be taken to remove deposits, or to prevent or minimize deposit formation before deposits negatively impact operation of the system.

Condenser coil cleaning indicator

The need to clean dirty condenser coils in an operating refrigeration appliance is performed by connecting a temperature monitor to the coil to signal when a predetermined rise in temperature has occurred from a baseline temperature that exists when the coil structure is clean. The temperature monitor can merely provide the actual temperature reading or it can be programmed for the selected temperature rise to light up or display an appropriate message that coil cleaning needs to be done.

HEAT EXCHANGER INTEGRATED SERVICES

An apparatus for cleaning heat exchangers may include a cleaning lance for cleaning a plurality of bores of the heat exchanger and an examination lance for examining a plurality of bores of the heat exchanger. The apparatus may further include a first feeder configured to extend and retract the cleaning lance and a second feeder configured to extend and retract the examination lance. The apparatus may further include a controller. The controller may be configured to control the first feeder to feed the cleaning lance into a first bore, to control the cleaning lance to clean the first bore, and to control the first feeder to retract the cleaning lance from the first bore. The controller may be further configured to control the first feeder to extend the cleaning lance into a second bore, to control the cleaning lance to clean the second bore, to control the second feeder to extend the examination lance into the first bore, and to control the examination lance to examine the first bore.

Systems and methods for cleaning a component inside an air handling apparatus includes a pump is connected to a controlling device and a metering device that is connected to one or more reservoirs. The metering device is also connected to one or more fogging devices. Each fogging device is positioned inside a housing, or plenum, so as to cause a fogged cleaning solution to be disbursed throughout the plenum and fully cover the component. To perform the cleaning of the component, the controlling device disables the machine and activates the pump which causes cleaning solution to be drawn from the one or more reservoirs into the metering device, which then transfers the cleaning solution into the fogging apparatus. The controlling device then allows the machine to resume operation.

Indexer, indexer retrofit kit and method of use thereof

A system and method for cleaning of heat exchanger tubes including an assembly, an indexer, and a communication device provided with specialized software and programming. The indexer includes orthogonally arranged first and second arms. A trolley and sensors are provided on the indexer arms. One or more lances are provided on the trolley to deliver water jets into the openings. Sensors measure displacement as the trolley is moved relative to the heat exchanger's face plate. An operator controls the system from a distance away using the communication device. During setup, the pattern of the face plate is learned and mapped utilizing information from the sensors as one of the inputs. This information is utilized to help navigate the face plate during a subsequent cleaning operation. A kit for retrofitting existing X-Y indexers is also disclosed.
