The invention relates to an upper receiver for a firearm, comprising a supporting part, which supports a barrel bushing for receiving a barrel, a guide for a longitudinally movable breech carrier, and an anchor for a sight. The guide for the breech carrier is formed on the underside of a rail block preferably made of metal which has the anchor for the sight on its upper side, and the supporting part is also preferably made of metal and mounted both to the barrel bushing and to the rail block via removable fasteners.

This disclosure concerns a pistol having an anti-disassembly protection device, which includes a disassembly key arranged rotatably in a frame, and which can be manually turned between an angular locking position and an angular disassembly position, and which disassembly key may occupy a transverse resting position and a transverse rotation position. The disassembly key has blocking means that cooperate with additional blocking means on the frame in order to prevent rotation of the disassembly key into the angular disassembly position when the disassembly key occupies the transverse resting position.

Takedown pins for rifles have a pin movable in a direction along its length between an operating condition and a released condition. The pin has a first end portion that prevents relative movement of the upper receiver with respect to the lower receiver when the pin is in the operating condition. The first end portion has a lower end portion surface adapted to resist upward movement of the upper receiver's lug. The pin has an intermediate portion adjacent to the lower end portion surface defining a lower channel having a lower channel surface above the level of the lower end portion surface. When the pin is in the released condition, the lower channel is registered with the lug, and the lug is enabled to move upward with respect to the lower receiver by a limited distance to a disengaged position.

Takedown pins for rifles have a pin movable in a direction along its length between an operating condition and a released condition. A magazine limit block is provided having a base configured to fit within an interior of a magazine body and a tapered main body configured to guide and support a spring within an interior of a magazine body. The tapered main body extends upwardly from the base. A notch is formed at a top surface of the limit block and is configured to accommodate and provide space for a connection point of the spring and a follower. The main body is configured to occupy space within a magazine body to limit a number of rounds of ammunition that fit inside the magazine and guides the spring during cycling.

Disclosed is a flashlight mount configured to attach a flashlight to the handguard of a firearm, in particular a rifle. An example flashlight mount comprises a base configured to be removably coupled to a handguard of a firearm; and an extension that includes an accessory interface configured to provide multiple lateral mounting positions for a flashlight. The accessory interface comprises two parallel rows of overlapping holes. Each of the two parallel rows of overlapping holes includes at least two overlapping holes aligned linearly with each other, each of the overlapping holes includes a tapered inlet.

A firearm has a receiver with a receptacle. A stock has a projection which is received within the receptacle to mount the stock on the receiver. A spring biased detent holds the stock in engagement with the receptacle. Manual manipulation of the detent allows the stock to be removed from the firearm's receiver.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for interchangeable, customizable, and suitable grips for firearms are described. In some embodiments, the grip includes two components, a grip base piece and an interchangeable grip (e.g., an interchangeable grip attachment) of the firearm user's choice. The grip base piece attaches to the lower receiver held by a pistol grip screw and a lock washer. In some examples, the grip base piece may only be installed once, for example, initially prior to implementation of interchangeable grips (e.g., the grip base piece may not require any other attention or installation changes after the initial placement onto the lower receiver). Following the installation of the grip base piece on the lower receiver, interchangeable grips of users' choice may be connected to the grip base piece (e.g., and interchanged with other interchangeable grips) via utilizing a grip interface (e.g., a T-shaped mating tab of the interchangeable grip).

A method of removing a trigger assembly from a firearm includes placing a projection of a pin removal tool against a first end of a trigger pin of a firearm. The projection of the pin removal tool extends from a first end of a handle of the pin removal tool. The projection is then pushed against the pin so as to cause the pin to partially unseat from its position within the firearm. The pin removal tool is then turned around and the head is engaged to the pin between the first end and a second end thereof via a notch of the head. The pin removal tool is pulled so that the trigger pin is removed from the firearm so as to release a trigger assembly which is at least partially held within the firearm by the trigger pin.
