A firearm handguard is disclosed. The handguard comprises a first side section, a second side section coupled to the first side section by a plurality of interlocking fingers, and a bottom section coupled to the first side section and the second side section. The first side section and the second side section each contain at least one accessory mounting aperture. The first side section and the second side section are comprised of a polymer material having molded therein a reinforcement liner including at least one reinforcement aperture. The at least one accessory mounting aperture is aligned with the at least one reinforcement aperture.

A gun lock of a firearm having two hammers movably disposed on a lock support, a trigger bar for each hammer for holding or releasing the hammers, a trigger, and a disconnector for the trigger, by which disconnector the trigger bars can be moved by the trigger from a holding position into a release position. The disconnector can be moved by an inertial mass between a triggering position, in which the trigger is connected to one of the two trigger bars, and a disconnect position, in which the connection between the trigger and the trigger bars is interrupted. The inertial mass is a pendulum mass swiveling about a transverse axis between a starting position and a safe position, by which the disconnector, upon the release of a first hammer, can be swiveled in a direction opposite to the direction of the pendulum mass into the disconnect position.
Ambidextrous safety for a firearm
An ambidextrous safety for a firearm is provided. The ambidextrous safety includes separate first and second opposed and spaced-apart thumb safeties that are interconnected by a shaft extending therebetween. The shaft is formed by a first shaft portion extending from the first thumb safety and a second shaft portion extending from the second thumb safety. The first and second shaft portions are interlocked, for instance, via a tongue-and-groove connection. The shaft extends through a separate sleeve which surrounds and reinforces the tongue-and-groove connection and prevents loosening and disconnection thereof.
Ambidextrous safety for a firearm
An ambidextrous safety for a firearm is provided. The ambidextrous safety includes separate first and second opposed and spaced-apart thumb safeties that are interconnected by a shaft extending therebetween. The shaft is formed by a first shaft portion extending from the first thumb safety and a second shaft portion extending from the second thumb safety. The first and second shaft portions are interlocked, for instance, via a tongue-and-groove connection. The shaft extends through a separate sleeve which surrounds and reinforces the tongue-and-groove connection and prevents loosening and disconnection thereof.
Safety actuator for AK-47 firearms
An improved safety actuator for an AK-47 firearm. The improved actuator utilizes a conventional receiver actuator modified to include a grip arm. The internal mechanism of the improved actuator and the conventional actuator are identical. This allows replacement of the conventional actuator with an improved actuator during field stripping, with no gun smithing. A grip arm depends from the receiver actuator, preferably from the receiver actuator's pivot point. The grip arm is aligned with the rifle's pistol grip. The shooter can control the safety actuator by squeezing the grip arm onto the pistol grip with his dominant hand. Thus, the safety may be moved from a safe position to a fire position without removing either hand from a sound firing position. The grip arm may be provided with a push bar to facilitate use of the dominant thumb to return the safety actuator to a safe position.
VOLUNTARY TEMPORARY HAND RESTRAINT GLOVE TO REDUCE A WEARERS ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY HOLD OR USE A WEAPON
A hand restraint of flexible, high tensile strength material forming three separate cavities for slidably receiving and isolating the thumb, index finger, and remaining third, fourth, and fifth fingers in a closed fist-like configuration, respectively is provided. The material and cavities prevents wearers from gripping, manipulating and using weapons or other articles, yet providing them the ability to pinch the index finger and thumb together to grip smaller articles, such as forms of identifications and writing implements. Along a peripheral portion, the hand restraint may provide webbing at the junction of the index finger and thumb portions for further restraining manipulation of weapons. The hand restraint provides securing devices along its wrist portion for enabling the wearer to remove their own hand restraint upon conclusion of the need for the device.
