Portable mattress seating apparatus
A portable mattress seating apparatus attachable to a mattress. The portable mattress seating apparatus clips onto a location on the peripheral of any conventional mattress. The apparatus has a retaining member that is retained under a mattress and above the box spring. The retaining member is attached to a vertical member adjacent to the side of the mattress. The vertical member is attached to another seating member that is oriented parallel to the top of the mattress face. The seat member is attached to a back-rest member. The back-rest member is attached to the seating member distal to the side of the mattress. The back-rest member is adjustable, allowing the back rest to be at acute, obtuse or 90-degree angles to the seating member. Further, the apparatus includes supporting members to spread the weight of a seated person.
Pocketed spring comfort layer and method of making same
A comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has slow-acting pockets characterized by the individual mini coil springs of the comfort layer being pocketed with either semi-impermeable or impermeable fabric. Each weld seam joining opposed plies of fabric around each of the coil springs of the comfort layer may be segmented, allowing air to flow between the segments, thereby increasing the luxury feel of the comfort layer. The method of making the comfort layer includes compressing the mini coil springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.

Pillow using magnesium based solid metal particles as filler
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pillow which enables a user to sleep well. To solve this problem, this pillow uses, as a filler, magnesium (Mg) based solid metal particles which are light and have high heat conductivity to enable the user to sleep well by stably holding the user's head and by increasing heat release property from the pillow. Additionally, the user's head can be stably held and heat release property from the pillow further increases by using a pillowcase which has excellent air permeability and cushioning properties and which has a three-dimensional knit structure composed of two layers of knit fabric including an outer knit fabric and an inner knit fabric and a connecting thread that connects the two layers of knit fabric.
MINDFULNESS ASSISTING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A mindfulness assisting assembly includes a housing that has a front wall, a rear wall and a perimeter edge defined at a juncture of the front and rear walls. The perimeter edge includes a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a top edge and a bottom edge. Each of the front and rear walls is comprised of a flexible material. The front and rear walls each comprise a cloth material and the front wall has a different tactile impression than the rear wall. A resiliently compressible material is positioned within the housing. A pair of grips is attached to the housing such that each of the first and second lateral edges has one the grips attached thereto.
Pillow including gelatinous elastomer cushion having deformable wall members and related methods
A pillow includes a pillow cushion consisting essentially of a gelatinous elastomer that is sized and configured to support a head and neck of a person using the pillow cushion. The pillow cushion has a first major surface, a second major surface, and deformable wall members extending between the first major surface and the second major surface. The deformable wall members are located and configured to define voids therebetween such that the deformable wall members may be displaced into adjacent voids upon deformation of the deformable wall members. The deformable wall members are configured to buckle when a pressure applied to a cushioning surface of the pillow cushion, in a direction perpendicular to the first major surface, exceeds a threshold pressure level. A pillow cover covers the pillow cushion. A method of fabricating a pillow includes enclosing such a cushion in a pillow cover.

THERAPEUTIC BLANKET
A therapeutic blanket including first and second outer layers that are attached together, and an internal matrix of generally equal sized cells. Each cell containing a measured weighted mass, the mass being held within the respective cell. The matrix being secured to the first and second outer layers along an outer perimeter of the blanket.
Pillow protector
A pillow cover is provided that includes a first panel and a second panel perimetrically joined with the first panel such that inner surfaces of the first and second panels define a cavity having a void volume. The first and second panels are each made from a first material. An opening extends through the inner surface of the first panel and an outer surface of the first panel. The pillow cover includes a patch covering the opening. The patch is made from a second material that is different than the first material.
