The present invention is related to a breech thread protector for cleaning bore of a firearm from breech area of the barrel to the muzzle of the barrel. The breech thread protector includes an elongated tubular member having a proximal open end and a distal open end. The invention is also related to an assembly including the breech thread protector, a kit for cleaning the bore of the barrel, and a method for cleaning bore of the barrel.

Axially spaced, resilient panels are integrally molded onto a hub through which the support extends. The storage case includes a substantially hollow container defining a rim at opening thereof, and a removable lid positionable between a closed configuration and an open position. The removable lid includes a handle section for gripping by a user to assist with pulling the cleaning tool through the gun barrel in the open configuration and configured to engage the rim in the closed configuration, and a connection section extending from the handle section, the connection section defining an elongated slot and a cavity for securing the distal end of the pull cord therein.

A break open rifle and bolt action rifle having a barrel extension with a breech end for receiving a propellant charge, a muzzle end with an extended attachment structure for receiving a complementary attachment structure of a barrel, and a chamber disposed within and through the barrel extension having a first diameter at a first end and a narrowing portion adjacent a second end opposite the first end, the narrowing portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the chamber is sized to receive the propellant charge therein, and the second diameter of the narrowing portion is sized to prevent the propellant charge from being further inserted past the narrowing portion, and to prevent a projectile from being inserted through the chamber from the barrel muzzle end. A suppressor mount device can include a first end having a barrel coupling feature adapted to couple the suppressor mount device to the barrel of a firearm. The device can further include a second end oriented opposite the first end along a bore axis and a suppressor coupling feature adapted to receive and retain a firearm suppressor. The device can further include a bore forming a void along the bore axis within the suppressor mount device, the bore adapted to allow passage of a projectile along the bore axis from the first end to the second end. The device can further include a reaming feature formed on an outer surface of the second end adapted to engage an inner surface of the firearm suppressor. The reaming feature can include a channel which is at least partially oriented non-parallel and non-perpendicular to the bore axis.

A suppressor mount device can include a first end having a barrel coupling feature adapted to couple the suppressor mount device to the barrel of a firearm. The device can further include a second end oriented opposite the first end along a bore axis and a suppressor coupling feature adapted to receive and retain a firearm suppressor. The device can further include a bore forming a void along the bore axis within the suppressor mount device, the bore adapted to allow passage of a projectile along the bore axis from the first end to the second end. The device can further include a reaming feature formed on an outer surface of the second end adapted to engage an inner surface of the firearm suppressor. The reaming feature can include a channel which is at least partially oriented non-parallel and non-perpendicular to the bore axis.
