An apparatus and method to aid in providing a bore through a solvent trap that is both vertical and aligned with the centerline of the solvent trap. The apparatus includes a base, cap, and drill bushing. The base includes an exterior and a first central opening that forms an interior. The first central opening is configured to receive at least a portion of a solvent trap. The cap is configured to be secured to a portion of the solvent trap and includes the drill bushing positioned within a second central opening of the cap. The drill bushing includes a third central opening configured to align a drill bit along a centerline of the solvent trap. The third central opening may be configured to permit passage of various sizes of firearm rounds.

Methods and systems are provided for a firearms suppressor that comprises a self-cleaning function. In one example the firearms suppressor may include a diffusor circumferentially surrounded by a blast chamber and a scrolled sleeve enclosing the inner core of the firearms suppressor. The combination of the said elements may mitigate accumulation of debris within a projectile path of the firearms suppressor and enable extended operation of the firearms suppressor before cleaning is desired.

Methods and systems are provided for a firearms suppressor that comprises a self-cleaning function. A firearm spring compression tool includes a base configured for anchoring the tool in a magazine well. A yoke is mounted on the base and includes a pair of arms configured for capturing a delta ring (“D-ring”) or other component on a firearm. An actuator is rotatably mounted on the yoke and is rotatable between a first, placement position for placing the yoke over the uncompressed D-ring and a second, compressed, release position. With the actuator in its second position, the D-ring is compressed whereby a handguard component of the firearm is released for removal in connection with a firearm servicing procedure.

A barrel assembly for a rifle comprising an elongated barrel having an exterior surface, an interior cylindrical bore defining a caliber, a muzzle with a crown, and a rear end with an enlarged cavity capable of receiving a round of ammunition; an elongated muzzle device permanently attached to the exterior surface of the barrel and surrounding and extending past the crown, the muzzle device including a longitudinal opening coaxial to the bore and one or more access ports positioned adjacent to the crown, such that the crown is located radially inward relative to the one or more access ports; a sleeve slidably mounted to an exterior surface of the muzzle device and capable of sliding between an open position and a closed position; wherein, when the sleeve is in the open position, the crown is accessible through the one or more access ports; and wherein, when the sleeve is in the closed position, it seals and completely covers the one or more access ports.

A method for manufacturing a firearm cleaning patch includes: providing a sheet of a material; cutting a plurality of hex shaped patches from the sheet of a material; and perforating or marking at least one slit on at least one hex shaped patch. A firearm cleaning patch and a method for cleaning the barrel of a firearm are also described.

A break open rifle and bolt action rifle having a barrel extension with a breech end for receiving a propellant charge, a muzzle end with an extended attachment structure for receiving a complementary attachment structure of a barrel, and a chamber disposed within and through the barrel extension having a first diameter at a first end and a narrowing portion adjacent a second end opposite the first end, the narrowing portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the chamber is sized to receive the propellant charge therein, and the second diameter of the narrowing portion is sized to prevent the propellant charge from being further inserted past the narrowing portion, and to prevent a projectile from being inserted through the chamber from the barrel muzzle end. A bolt action configuration having dual diameter non-rotating bolt with an extractor and ejector mechanism for removing a propellant charge.
