Weapon usage monitoring system with multi-echelon threat analysis
Systems and methods are provided for deployment location monitoring and threat analysis, comprising producing, at a device within a deployment location, a signal including sensor information recorded using one or more sensors of the device and metadata regarding the device, transmitting, from the device, the signal to a server device running application software, processing, by the application software, the signal to detect a threat within the deployment location, determining, by the application software, an action to perform in response to the detected threat and presenting within a graphical user interface a virtual reality depiction of the deployment location with images generated based at least in part on data received from the device.
DRY FIRE TRAINING DEVICE
A multi-function dry fire training device to be inserted into the chamber of a firearm, which comprises an illuminator for emitting, upon receiving a command from a controller, a beam of visible or invisible illumination from the barrel of the firearm, the beam being parallel to its central axis; a controller for controlling the functionality of the device including illumination of the illuminator, in response to activation of the firearm trigger; an actuator, being electrically connected to the controller, for activating the controller whenever being struck by the firearm striker and a power source for providing DC power to the controller and illuminator.

Pistol Activity Recording Device
A device mountable on a pistol holster configured for detecting when a pistol is removed from the holster and, when removed, for activating a controller to receive, process, and record in memory audio signals from a microphone and to receive, process, and record in memory motion and compass direction signals. A connector is provided for transferring signal data to an external device configured with software for analyzing the acoustical characteristic of gunshots.
Firearm usage monitoring system
A firearm usage monitoring system configured to store data about location, movement, orientation, and direction of a firearm while in use and includes a hard-wired data and power connection, configured to receive data and power from a wired source. A UART to USB controller is communicatively coupled to the data and power connection and configured to send data to and receive data from the data and power connection. A microprocessor sends data to and receives data from the UART to USB controller. A motion monitor is communicatively coupled to the microprocessor module further comprising a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a compass configured to communicate data about movement, orientation, and direction of the firearm. Memory is communicatively coupled to the microprocessor and the motion monitor. Data about the location and position of the firearm in 3D space is transmitted from the motion monitor and GPS and then stored in the memory.
FIREARM ALTERNATOR
Methods and apparatus are described for extracting and storing electrical energy from the gaseous discharge of a firearm. In one embodiment a muzzle device is provided comprising of at least one thermoelectric generator which generates electric power, to be stored in a battery, using heat transferred from the gaseous discharge of a firearm to the thermoelectric generator by a heat sink.
Trigger energy absorption apparatus and method
An elastomer shock absorber for the trigger assembly of a firearm utilizing an elastomer shock absorber positioned between a moving part of the trigger assembly and the frame assembly. Adhesive mounting of the elastomer to the back of the trigger or positioning the elastomer internal to the frame assembly both provide significant reductions in the shock transfer of trigger energy to the gun body, thereby increasing the accuracy of the firearm.
MUZZLE DEVICE FOR A FIREARM
A firearm includes a muzzle device. The muzzle device includes a muzzle adapter and a muzzle attachment. The muzzle attachment suppresses noise and/or redirects gases and recoil. The firearm utilizes recoil operation to cycle such that the barrel reciprocates inside a handguard of the firearm during cycling. The muzzle adapter is attached to the handguard and receives the barrel therein. The muzzle attachment is secured to the muzzle adapter such that the muzzle of the barrel remains longitudinally in the muzzle adapter during discharge and cycling of the firearm.
