LIMB HAVING A CORE MEMBER AND AN ARCHERY BOW INCLUDING SAME
A limb for an archery bow is provided. The limb includes an outer elongate member, an inner elongate member, and a core member. The outer elongate member is formed of a first material and includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. The inner elongate member is formed of a second material and includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. The core member is formed of a third material and is sandwiched between the outer elongate member and the inner elongate member. The core member is coupled with at least a portion of each of the interior surfaces of the outer elongate member and the inner elongate member. The outer elongate member and the inner elongate member are configured to move relative to each other when the limb is bent. The first material and the second material are each stiffer than the third material.

BOW
A bow includes a handle and upper and lower limbs. The upper and lower limbs are formed of a laminated fiber-reinforced plastic material. The upper limb has first and second sets of fiber sheets stacked in a direction along a lateral axis. The first set of fiber sheets have fibers aligned at a first angle from a longitudinal axis, and the second set of fiber sheets having fibers aligned at a second angle from the longitudinal axis in an opposite direction. The lower limb has third and fourth sets of fiber sheets stacked in a direction along the lateral axis. The third set of fiber sheets have parallel fibers aligned at a third angle from the longitudinal axis, and the fourth set of fiber sheets having fibers aligned at a fourth angle from the longitudinal axis in an opposite direction. The angles are between 16 and 44 degrees.
Bow riser with integrated central accessory mount
An archery bow with a riser including a mount in a centerline plane of the riser above a lower wall of a sight window of the riser may allow for a novel manner of mounting an archery accessory. Placement of the mount within a centerline plane of the riser may maintain the weight of the archery accessory along a center of the bow, thereby reducing or eliminating asymmetrically weighted bows or the need for an additional stabilizer to balance the weight of the archery accessory. Positioning the mount above the lower wall of the sight window additionally allows for coordination of the position of a secondary accessory, such as a sight, a light, or a camera, in addition to mounting an arrow rest, such as in a lower wall of the sight window, while maintaining the centralized weight advantages noted above.
Pivoting limb pad assembly for an archery bow
A limb pad assembly for an archery bow includes an elongated body that articulates about a lateral axis and/or has a curved working surface that contacts a limb of the bow spaced from a riser of the bow by the limb pad assembly. The articulation and/or curved working surface serve to distribute stress along the limb during drawing and firing of the bow to reduce noise and vibration during firing of the bow and to reduce material fatigue in the bow limb, preventing premature limb failure.

A limb pad assembly for an archery bow includes an elongated body that articulates about a lateral axis and/or has a curved working surface that contacts a limb of the bow spaced from a riser of the bow by the limb pad assembly. When the archery assembled by joining a limb and a handle riser is used, the limb and handle are prevented from vibrating left and right. At a second fitting part, the inclination of the limb can be easily adjusted and corrected by an eccentric locator.
The archery is characterized in that: the limb-side second fitting part 12 of a limb 11 has a projection 131 with a convex cross section protruding from the surface of the limb 11 of the limb-side second fitting part 12; the handle riser-side second fitting part 23 of a handle riser 21 has a housing part 231 with a concave cross section to house the projection with a convex cross section; in the housing part 231, a side face near a bottom is smaller in diameter than an opening; and the limb 11 and the handle riser 21 are joined by joining the limb-side first fitting part 12 and the handle riser-side first fitting part 22 and joining the limb-side second fitting part 13 and the handle riser-side second fitting part 23.

In some embodiments, an archery bow riser comprises a body defining a first end, a second end and a grip portion. The body defines a shooting axis and comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a metal and the second portion comprises carbon fibers. The first portion extends to a first side of the shooting axis and to a second side of the shooting axis, and the second portion extends to the first side of the shooting axis and to the second side of the shooting axis.
