TOY PROJECTILE LAUNCHER AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A toy launcher for launching projectiles that includes a drum having a substantially circular shape and comprising a ring of projectile holders to hold projectiles for launching, the ring of projectile holders including a ring of inner support portions located substantially at a first radius from a center of the drum, each inner support portion adapted to support at least a portion of a projectile on an inner concentric ring of projectiles, and a ring of outer support portions located substantially at a second radius from the center of the drum, each outer support portion adapted to support at least a portion of a projectile on an outer concentric ring of projectiles, wherein the second radius is different than the first radius, and wherein the drum includes a ring of front openings and a ring of rear openings that are aligned with at least the inner concentric ring of projectiles.
AERIAL RECONNAISSANCE MARKING PROJECTILE
An aerial projectile apparatus provides a means for marking terrestrial and marine locations for identification from afar, as by aerial reconnaissance. The projectile is launched from ground level at a location where identification is desired. When the projectile is lofted to an appropriate elevation, it disperses a spray of marker substance in the form of droplets or solid particles. When the sprayed marker substance settles to ground level, it leaves a mark on the landscape or marine surface indicating the location for identification by aerial reconnaissance.
AUTOMATED TOY DART LAUNCHER WITH MOTORIZED DRIVEN DRUM
An automated gun-like shaped toy projectiles launcher with motorized driven drum is described. A method of launching a plurality of toy projectiles using an automated toy launcher is further described. The automated toy launcher includes a mechanism including a biasing element configured to accumulate energy upon rotation of the motorized driven drum.

EASY LOADING TOY PROJECTILE LAUNCHER
A toy projectile launcher for launching projectiles, e.g, toy foam darts, from a hopper. One or more agitating members inside the hopper to enable the projectiles to drop into a firing chamber under the hopper. A hopper cover has a collapsible ceiling with nested members and a ceiling plate to maintain the projectiles toward the bottom of the hopper. A catch coupled to the ceiling plate engages an opening in a hopper wall to prevent the ceiling from collapsing when the hopper cover is closed. Where there are multiple vertically spaced-apart openings in the hopper wall, the catch may disengage from a first opening, and then engage a lower, second opening in the hopper wall, as the number of projectiles in the hopper drops and the ceiling plate descends in the hopper. A rotating track and a push rod advance projectiles from the firing chamber to flywheels for launch.
Toy projectile launcher with hybrid manual and elastic powered launching mechanisms
A projectile launcher that toy ball projectiles. The projectile launcher has a launch tube and a slide tube that interconnect in a telescoping manner. A handle is affixed to the free end of the slide tube. The handle is free to rotate relative the launch tube. In this manner, the handle can be rotated while the slide tube telescopes with the launch tube. A bow structure is affixed to the launch tube. The bow structure has opposing arms that extend away from the launch tube in the manner of an archery bow. An elastic bow string extends between the free ends of the bow structure arms and the handle. During use, a toy ball projectile is positioned in the launch tube. The slide tube is retracted relative the launch tube. The movement of the slide tube stretches the elastic bow string and biases the slide tube forward.

Ejection launcher
An ejection launcher is an apparatus that effectively ejects a payload while maintaining a compact structure. The apparatus includes an elongated enclosure, a cover, a trigger mechanism, and a spring-loaded piston. The apparatus further includes a payload, such as a parachute. The elongated enclosure positions and connects the trigger mechanism with the spring-loaded piston. The elongated enclosure also houses the spring-loaded piston. The trigger mechanism releases the spring-loaded piston which forces the payload from within the elongated enclosure. The payload is a desired delivered item and is preferably a parachute. The trigger mechanism and the spring-loaded piston translates horizontal force into vertical force which releases the payload and reduces the release resistance. The trigger mechanism preferably utilizes and includes a servo motor with an output arm. The output arm pushes against a catch plate of the trigger mechanism and releases a catch pin of the spring-loaded piston.

Dart pistol
A dart pistol utilizes an assembly of a pistol body, a launch channel, a carriage, a mainspring, an operating bar, an engagement feature, a trigger member, and a retainer pin to adapt a conventional game of throwing darts into a shooting sport. The launch channel is formed into the pistol body such that the carriage, mainspring, and operating bar are slidably mounted between a fore body end and a rear body end. The mainspring is connected between the carriage and the fore body end to impart a launching force to at least one projectile via the carriage. The retainer pin is laterally mounted into the channel to capture the engagement feature of the operating bar until dislodged by the trigger member. The trigger member is pivotably mounted to the pistol body, operatively coupling the trigger member to the operating bar to fire the dart pistol.
