Toy launch apparatus with momentum feature and concentric piston
An air launch apparatus includes a frame, a grip, and a plurality of sidewalls and also includes a hollow substantially cylindrical barrel having a central longitudinal axis. The air launch apparatus further includes a piston disposed substantially concentric with the barrel. The piston is configured to move longitudinally along the outer surface of the barrel in directions parallel to the longitudinal axis. The air launch apparatus also includes a nut that is configured to engage the piston as a front block carrying the nut is drawn rearward toward a user, and to hold the piston stationary relative to the front block while so engaged. A plunger, fixedly connected to the piston, is configured to move with the piston. Movement of the piston and plunger, forward during cocking draws air into a volume within an air chamber of the air launch apparatus. The plunger, together with the piston, is driven rearward (toward the user) during firing of the air launch apparatus.
Gas-powered gun
A gas-powered gun comprising an inner barrel (31), a compartment (40) for compressed gas formed coaxially around the inner barrel (31), a pressure regulator (42) connected between the compartment (40) and a pressure chamber (10), so as to ensure a controlled pressure in the pressure chamber (10), and a valve (15) arranged to release compressed gas from the pressure chamber (10) to thereby discharge a projectile (13) provided in said inner barrel (31). The gas-powered gun further comprises a plenum chamber (70) in fluid connection with the pressure chamber (10), the plenum chamber being formed in a detachable module (7) arranged below the barrel during normal use.
Trigger assembly for air gun
A trigger assembly includes an actuator that moves along a longitudinal axis, a primary sear, a catch, a trigger, and a secondary sear. After releasing the actuator to fire the air gun, the actuator engages the primary sear, which cooperates with the secondary sear and the catch to facilitate automatic re-cocking of the air gun.
Projectile loader having streamlined external body and internal opening mechanism
A projectile loader is provided having a body split into two portions attached by a hinge, wherein a release mechanism for separating the two portions is located internally of the loader body, accessed via a top opening.
Gas-powered gun
A gas-powered gun for discharge of projectiles, comprising a pressure chamber for holding compressed gas, a valve arranged to release compressed gas from the pressure chamber to thereby discharge a projectile provided in a barrel, and a plenum chamber in fluid connection with the pressure chamber. The plenum chamber is formed coaxially around a rear portion of the barrel.
Pneumatic projectile launching system
A pneumatic assembly for a projectile launching system including a body defining a continuous bore. A nozzle is positioned within the bore adjacent the forward end of the body and is moveable between a rearward position wherein the nozzle facilitates passage of a projectile through a projectile port and a forward position wherein the nozzle blocks the projectile port to prevent passage of a projectile therethrough.
Gas powered semi-automatic airgun action
Airguns are provided with semi-automatic action.
