Two-stage airgun fire and reset
12098903 · 2024-09-24 ·

Improvements in a more efficient use of air in a projectile launcher is disclosed. The launcher uses a two-stage air gun fire and reset to have a more efficient compressed gas usage because the gas is not wasted by performing simultaneous actions, instead, the motion dedicates a portion of the motion to firing only then transitions a port to close and redirect the gasses to re-cocking without wasted gasses going out the firing bolt. The air is redirected through a moving port or gate to allow the launcher to continue to perform and cycle to the point where there is low pressure in the supply tank. This prevents chopping or shredding of paintballs because the feed port of the projectiles only partially opens. The improvement allows the launcher to reliably feed and fire projectiles down to the point where it is obvious that the tank requires changing.

DECAL-COATED PROJECTILE LAUNCHER
20240308242 · 2024-09-19 ·

A non-lethal projectile launcher toy that comprises a full-colour, high DPI, printed aggregate coating on an outer shell (101, 301); the decal coating is not limited to flat surfaces, allowing for substantially unrestricted product design, and is substantially undisturbed visual continuity when crossing part lines between discrete parts that make up the outer shell. Methods of producing the decal-coated toy gun using inkjet printing technology are also provided, allowing for high-detail and comprehensive colour range aggregate coatings that may be programmatically controlled to maximise the visual quality of the applied decal.

MAGAZINE FOR LAUNCHER
20180202750 · 2018-07-19 ·

A magazine for a projectile launcher is provided. The magazine has a housing having a cavity to retain a plurality of frangible projectiles, a follower and spring to engage and push the projectiles through the cavity, and feed lips extending from the housing. The magazine also has an opening to allow a projectile to be ejected from the housing and to remain engaged by the feed lips when the magazine is connected to the launcher. When the magazine is connected to the launcher the feed lips engage the barrel of the launcher and the projectile is placed in the barrel breach but the projectile remains associated with the feed lips. However, upon removal of the magazine from the launcher the projectile that was in the barrel breach remains with the magazine.

STOCK FOR LAUNCHER
20180202753 · 2018-07-19 ·

A quick release stock assembly for a launcher is provided having a stock bar and a stock housing. The stock bar has a first end and a second end, the first end having a mating member that secures the stock bar to the launcher in a first orientation and that precludes the stock bar from being removed from the launcher in the first orientation. The stock bar is removable from the launcher in a second orientation. The stock housing has a cavity sized to receive a pressurized canister, and a receiver to slidingly receive the stock bar about its length. The stock housing further has a release pin transverse to the receiver to engage the stock bar and longitudinally fix the stock bar in the stock housing in a plurality of positions.

Paintball loader drive system

The present invention is directed to a ball feed mechanism and associated method for use in a paintball loader. The ball feed mechanism includes a feeder which conveys or impels balls toward a feed neck, and a drive member which is concentric with the feeder. The feeder is coupled to the drive member. An electric motor is used to rotate the drive member which in turn causes the feeder to rotate. The feed mechanism includes sensors which detect the motion of the feeder and the drive member. A controller determines the position of the feeder relative to the drive member and actuates a motor when necessary.
