The blade is defined by a longitudinally extending edge defined by: a first serrated edge, a second serrated edge, an angled bevel, and a double-sided blade tip oriented about 30 above the longitudinally extending edge of blade. Blade includes metric and imperial scales, time dial, and compass. Blade forms a dowel hole, nut socket holes, and a longitudinally extending groove. The metallic composition of the blade serves as an antenna.

A self-defense tool having a blade that is designed primarily for self-defense is described. The design is intended to eliminate intent to kill on the part of the user when used in defense of an attack. The tool cannot easily be used as an offensive weapon. Thus, when used properly, the tool is geared to take the intent to kill away from the user. The tool is designed to hit the pressure points or places of an attacker and give time for the user to make a critical decision to run or defend. The sharpened blade portion has a reverse cut that is intended to cut more as an attacker pulls away than when the sharpened blade portion is thrust forward. The design minimizes the probability of self-injury by the tool, while maximizing the ability to defend the user from the attacker.

The invention provides a ring for use in self-defense including a base with a band that is worn on a finger of a user, a blade fixed to the outer circumference of the band, wherein the blade protrudes from the outer circumference of the band, a base connecting mechanism joined to a portion of the blade that is fixed to the outer circumference of the band, and a ring top comprising a top connecting mechanism, and an ornamental top, wherein the top connecting mechanism is joined to a portion of the ornamental top.

A self-defense weapon for women and others, comprising a lightweight, portable single or multi-bladed weapon adapted to be held in the hand and when activated by squeezing, one or more blades are exposed outwardly between the fingers. When the hand is relaxed, the weapon is deactivated, and the blades retract into the body of the weapon (sheath) protecting the user, so the weapon may be safely carried in the user's pocket or purse.

A core plug in the tang slot holds the lock switch in an unlocked position when the accessory tool is uncoupled from the dock.
