THROWING WEAPON
A throwing weapon (100) is described as comprising: a central portion (105) mainly ex-tending along a predetermined longitudinal axis (Y), a pair of first sharp portions (130, 135), which respectively extend from the opposite axial ends (110, 115) of the central portion (105) in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (Y), and a pair of second sharp portions (150, 155), which protrude transversely from the central portion (105), wherein said second sharp portions (150, 155) extend from opposite parts of the central portion (105), in directions orthogonal to the longitudinal axis (Y), and are mutually off-set along the longitudinal axis (Y) itself.
DEVICE FOR CARRYING CORDAGE AND SURVIVAL TOOLS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A device for carrying cordage includes a flexible, elongate and planar inner core having two opposite longitudinal sides and two opposite ends; and a cord wound around the two opposite longitudinal sides of the inner core along a longitudinal direction between the two opposite ends. The inner core and the wound cord together form an insert which has sufficient rigidity that facilitates full insertion of the insert into the sheath, strap, belt, or enclosure without bunching or kinking of the cord in a way that blocks a trailing portion of the cord from inserting into the sheath, strap, belt, or enclosure. A method for manufacturing the device is also disclosed.
Defense Device
A non-lethal defense device is described for controlling difficult individuals. The device has an elongated body with an elongated opening positioned in the body. A support section of the body is positioned adjacent the opening. An elongated surface is defined by a side of the opening that is spaced apart from the support section. The elongated section is designed for applying a concentrated force that can subdue an aggressor.
Positioning control mechanism of expandable baton
The present invention is to provide a positioning control mechanism applied to an expandable baton including a first pipe provided with a clamping groove portion on two opposite inner walls thereof and a second pipe inserted into the first pipe and provided with shifting holes on two opposite wall surfaces thereof. The positioning control mechanism includes an activating mechanism and a releasing rod. The activating mechanism is formed by two activating blocks movably positioned in the shifting holes and hooked with each other to form a releasing hole therebetween. The releasing rod is mounted inside the first pipe and, when one end of the releasing rod is inserted into the releasing hole, the outer edges of the activating block can be retracted inwardly and is not inserted in the clamping groove portion, so the second pipe can be retracted into the first pipe and positioned to form a short-rod shape.

ARM SLEEVE WITH RETRACTABLE ELBOW SPIKE
A self-defense apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a sleeve sized to fit over an arm of a user, with a forearm portion, and an elbow portion. A housing is secured to the forearm portion. An opening is formed that leads into the housing. The opening is disposed near the elbow portion. A spike is disposed within the housing. The spike includes a first end having a point and a second end having a stop. The stop prevents the spike from fully exiting the housing. The present invention further includes a spring biasing the spike to be substantially outside of the housing through the opening. The apparatus includes a deployed position including the spike substantially outside of the housing, and a retracted position including the spike substantially within the housing.
Projectile launching device
A sports and games apparatus consisting of two rods and an aerodynamic projectile with an opening which receives the two rods. The projectile is launched by manipulating the rods in an opposing fashion. The opening of the projectile is of the appropriate size to allow for the rods to slide through, but not large enough that the projectile exhibits unwanted motions that inhibit accuracy during the launching motion. The rods are used to propel the projectile towards a variety of targets which interact with the projectile in various ways. The projectile may comprise a multitude of aerodynamic shapes and a multitude of methods for interacting with targets.
