Rifle accuracy and noise suppression systems
A noise suppressor for mounting on a distal end of a rifle barrel. The suppressor is made up of an inner core component and an outer sleeve component which is received about the inner core component, creating a gas-receiving chamber between the two. The inner core component an internally threaded, barrel receiving end which receives and engages the exteriorly threaded end of the rifle barrel in overlapping fashion, an oppositely arranged exteriorly threaded end, and a central bore between the two ends which allows the passage of a bullet when the bullet is fired, firing of the bullet also setting off hot exhaust gases in the central bore. The inner core component has window openings for exhausting hot gases from the inner chamber into the surrounding outer chamber and also has an exterior longitudinal region forward of the central chamber, the exterior region having a series of longitudinally aligned, upwardly extending teeth formed therein for diverting the hot, high speed gases contacting the upwardly extending teeth.
Adjustable firearm stock
A stock for a firearm includes an attachment member shaped to attach the stock to a firearm, a stock member pivotally attached to the attachment member so that the stock member is pivotable between an aligned position and a folded position, and a stock body. One of the stock member and stock body includes a plurality of stock attachment locations so that the stock member and stock body are connected together at one of the plurality of stock attachment locations.
Female form fitting buttstock
A female form fitting buttstock for increased comfort, accuracy and enjoyment when shooting includes a stock that has a top, a fore end and a butt end. The fore end is configured to couple to a receiver of a shotgun that has a rib sight. A pad is reversibly couplable to the butt end, which is positively pitched. The pad and the fore end are positioned such that a length of pull measurement of thirty to forty centimeters is obtained upon coupling of the stock to the receiver. The top of the stock comprises a comb that has a top edge, which is linear and parallel to the rib sight. The toe is positioned outside of a plane defined by the top edge of the comb and the rib sight. The stock is configured to comfortably position within a shoulder pocket of a female user.
BULLPUP STOCK ASSEMBLY CONFIGURED FOR ACCOMMODATING MULTIPLE FIREARM ASSEMBLIES
A bullpup stock assembly configured for housing a firearm assembly without the use of tools. The bullpup stock includes an upper housing configured to hingedly couple with a lower housing. A hinging means hingedly couples the upper and lower housings such that in a closed configuration the forward ends upper and lower housing are joined, and such that in an open configuration the upper and lower housing are not joined. A bullpup trigger is configured to communicate with a trigger of the firearm assembly by a trigger linkage assembly such that the bullpup trigger activates the firearm when depressed. A block assembly housed with the upper and lower housings is configured to house a firing assembly of the firearm and the trigger linkage assembly. At least one locking means for locking the upper and lower housings together when the forward ends of the upper and lower housing are joined.
Vertical fore grip with bipod
Devices, systems and methods of using an ergonomic fore grip/gun handle with a concealable and collapsible bipod. One version can have a tubular recess consisting of a first cylindrical cutout housing the bipod legs when concealed and a sliding piston that deploys the legs and a second cylindrical cutout housing a release mechanism and a void space for other accessories. The release mechanism has a compression spring positioned between the piston assembly and the bottom of the first cylindrical cutout and the compression spring. The legs are connected to the bottom of the piston assembly via a hinge and spring that when released from confinement within the fore grip, causes the legs to expand outward until fully deployed. Telescoping legs allow adjustment of leg length for use on uneven terrain. The grip portion has an outer surface with a flat surface on sides of the grip to provide a more stable grip, assist in orienting the mounted weapon and support pressure pads for lights.
Modular stock for a firearm
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a barrel support for a for a firearm stock. In one example, the barrel support has an elongate frame with a longitudinal axis extending between a fore portion and an aft portion, a first concave barrel recess shaped to support a first barrel, the first concave barrel recess positioned on a first side of the elongate frame. The exemplary barrel support also has a second concave barrel recess shaped to support a second barrel, the second concave barrel recess positioned on a second side of the elongate frame. In this example the first barrel is a tapered barrel, and the second barrel is a straight barrel.
Bump fire grip
A pistol grip that assists in bump firing a pistol is disclosed. The bump fire grip may comprise a partially hollow exterior shaft that can contain an interior shaft. The interior shaft can be sized to slide from the front to the back of the exterior shaft, and vice versa. The interior shaft can slide on one or more pins, wherein the pins are lockedly engaged in the exterior shaft, pass through the interior shaft, but are not attached to the interior shaft. The bump fire grip can also employ a male/female grove design such that male groves on the exterior shaft can receive female groves on the interior shaft. The interior shaft can slide on the male/female groves. The bump fire grip can also include a locking mechanism, which, when engaged, can prevent the interior shaft from sliding within the exterior shaft, prohibiting bump firing.
Firearm handguard
A free-floating firearm handguard having vertically offset mounting fasteners.
Laminate material having a decorative appearance and method of manufacture
A laminate material having a decorative appearance has a plurality of layers that are bonded together with at least one of the layers having a first orientation. A portion of at least one of the layers adjacent to an exterior surface of the material is deviated into a second orientation differing from the first orientation. The exterior surface of the material is substantially flat, thereby revealing multiple layers at the exterior surface. Each layer may comprise a sheet that is pre-impregnated with a thermosetting resin. A form having a surface feature may be pressed into the exterior surface of the material while the layers are bonded together to deviate a portion of at least one of the layers adjacent to an exterior surface of the material into the second orientation. The invention also includes a method of generating a laminate material having a decorative appearance.
Swivel handle assembly
A swivel handle assembly is disclosed. The swivel handle assembly comprises a ball attachment, a fitting, a handle, and a friction pin. The handle is a hollow elongate cylinder with openings at each end of the handle. The ball attachment fits within the first end of the handle and extends through the first opening. The handle is rotatable around the ball attachment. The friction pin is inserted through the second end of the handle. The friction pin extends through the body of the handle and engages the fitting, pushing the fitting against the ball attachment. When the friction pin is fully engaged against the fitting the handle is locked into position. The user can position the handle on the ball attachment in a desired position and lock the handle in place during use.
