It also comprises a battery configured to be connected to the display device and a control unit configured to receive data from the electronic control unit and send it to the display device. When the display device is installed it is housed in the receptacle and the user has visual access to it by the opening of the comb so that he has access to all the firearm information in his own line of sight when he is aiming. Furthermore, the stock is equally valid for left and right-handed people.

A castle nut has a groove around an exterior circumference thereof. An end plate has a through hole extending in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a firearm. When a buffer tube is threaded onto a lower receiver of the firearm with the buffer tube traversing through the castle nut and the end plate, the castle nut can be screwed in a direction toward the lower receiver to fasten the end plate against the lower receiver. When the end plate is fastened against the lower receiver by the castle nut, the securing device can be screwed into the through hole of the end plate such that a portion of the securing device is engaged with the groove of the castle nut to prevent the castle nut to be loosened by being unscrewed in a direction away from the lower receiver.

A rifle stock with pivoting detachable sling support element has a body configured for connection to a rifle, the body defining a pocket, the pocket being configured to removably receive a sling support element, the pocket defining a pivot axis, a sling support element removably received in the pocket, and the sling support element being pivotally received in the pocket to pivot about the pivot axis.
