STORAGE CASE WITH PULL HANDLE FOR GUN CLEANING TOOL
A gun cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning tool and a storage case. The cleaning tool has a cleaning section and a pull cord having a distal end for pulling the cleaning section through a gun barrel. The storage case is configured for enclosing the cleaning tool. The storage case includes a substantially hollow container defining a rim at opening thereof, and a removable lid positionable between a closed configuration and an open position. The removable lid includes a handle section for gripping by a user to assist with pulling the cleaning tool through the gun barrel in the open configuration and configured to engage the rim in the closed configuration, and a connection section extending from the handle section, the connection section defining an elongate slot and a cavity for securing the distal end of the pull cord therein.
Apparatus for temporarily storing shotguns and rifles in field environment
An apparatus for safely storing guns in a field environment is disclosed herein. The apparatus is comprised of a recoil rest pad for receiving and supporting a gun's recoil pad and ensuring that it does not become damaged, a barrel support pad for securing the barrel of the gun within an interior diameter that is larger than the diameter of the barrel, and an opening that can be stretched, but wherein the openingin its unstretched stateis less wide than the diameter of the barrel, and an attachment mechanism for attaching the apparatus to a vehicle. Moreover, the various elements of the invention are connected by a fabric-type element, which makes the apparatus lightweight, and easy to pack-up and stow when not in use.
Rifle Sling
The present invention is a rifle sling for use with a rifle having butt and barrel portions. The rifle sling comprises a one-piece leather strap comprising a central longitudinal axis, a fixed end portion, and a sliding end portion. The sliding end portion comprises a slit that is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the strap. The sliding end portion being folded to form first and twisted second loops with the first loop passing thru the second loop to form a sliding knot. The fixed end portion comprises first and second slits parallel to the central longitudinal axis and aligned with each other. The fixed end portion being folded to form a loop that is passed thru the first and second slits to form a fixed knot. Unlike conventional rifle slings, the rifle sling of the present invention does not employ any hardware.
Pistol chassis and firearm apparatus
A pistol chassis is disclosed which may include a lower housing, an upper housing, a proximal enclosure, a distal sleeve, and a proximal accessory. The distal sleeve, lower housing, and upper housing may be secured together to form a tubular member for receiving a pistol. The lower housing further may include a distal segment, a proximal segment and an intermediate segment. Time distal segment may include a pistol frame receptacle and a trigger guard enclosure. The proximal accessory may be a folding stock. The pistol chassis may house a pistol to produce a firearm apparatus.
Holster with rotatable locking element
A locking holster having a side wall portion for receiving at least a portion of a handgun; a locking element with a locking projection extending from a helical ramp surface of the locking element, a central aperture is formed through the locking element with one or more flute guide projections extending into the central aperture; and a release bar having a flute portion with one or more spiral or helical grooves formed therein to interact with at least a portion of the flute guide projections, such that slidable movement of the release bar relative to the locking element produces rotational movement of the locking element, and wherein at least a portion of the locking projection retains the handgun in the holster in an engaged position, via interaction between at least a portion of the locking projection and an interior surface of a trigger guard of the handgun.
Quick detachable and lockable holster
A holster including a hip plate, a bracket mount detachably engaged with the hip plate, and a shroud for removably receiving a firearm therein and being adjustably connected to the bracket mount, the shroud being angularly adjustable with respect to the bracket mount. The bracket mount may be slidably engaged with the hip plate. The hip plate may define a bracket mount receiving slot, wherein the bracket mount is slidably received within the receiving slot. Also, a strapless shoulder holster may include a hip mount and a shroud for removably receiving a firearm therein and secured to and positioned above the hip mount, wherein the shroud is angularly adjustable about three axes of rotation. The shroud may also be attached to and rotatable about a pivotable stanchion rod extending vertically from and being secured to the mounting bracket. The stanchion rod may also be adjustable in length.
Convertible Sling
A sling apparatus that improves user comfort and weapon stabilization and that can be easily converted to and from single-point configuration, two-point configuration, and body armor configuration. The configuration flexibility and ease of conversion allows the user to tailor the sling apparatus to user preferences or environment. In any configuration, the sling improves the user's ability to stabilize the weapon, enhances the comfort of the user, secures the weapon more tightly to the user's body for increased weapon control, and provides an integrated source of paracord that can be utilized in emergency situations.
Concealed carry clip for handguns
The present disclosure provides an improved concealed carry clip, that attaches with machine screws to the slide rear cover plate, and which has friction features on the clip to facilitate drawing back the slide with the thumb and index finger. In addition, the cover plate can be equipped with projections that reduce shearing forces on the machine screws. A drilled and tapped replacement rear cover plate is provided with the improved concealed carry clip. Though the improved concealed carry clips have, to date, been designed for Glock, M&P and Springfield Armory XD handguns, the concealed carry clips may be adapted for use on other similarly constructed handguns in the future.
EDDS CHELATED NANOCERIA WITH CATALASE-LIKE ACTIVITY
A process for making nanoparticles of biocompatible materials, wherein an aqueous reaction mixture comprising cerous ion, ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid, an oxidant, water, and optionally citric acid, is provided along with temperature conditions to directly form within the reaction mixture, a stable dispersion of cerium oxide nanoparticles. Also, biocompatibe nanoparticles comprised of cerium oxide, ethyenediaminedisuccinic acid, and optionally citric acid. An increase in catalase-like enzyme activity is demonstrated by cerium oxide nanoparticles prepared with citric acid and ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid.
FIREARM STABILIZING DEVICE WITH TETHER
A firearm stabilizing device includes a base that is attached or attachable to a garment. The base includes an array of one or more magnets, at least one of the magnets of the array being an attractive magnet configured to cause a firearm magnet that is incorporated into a stock of the firearm to adhere to the base when brought into magnetic range of the attractive magnet. A tether connection structure is configured to enable mechanical suspension of the firearm from the base when the attractive magnet does not cause the firearm magnet to adhere to the base.
