FIREARM SIGHTING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A targeting device for a firearm having a sighting device, the targeting device having a mount capable of being secured to the fire arm, and a camera capable of capturing images in a field of view including the sighting device, the camera being adjustable relative to the sighting device such that it can be aligned with the sighting device.
METHODS SYSTEMS CIRCUITS COMPONENTS APPARATUS DEVICES ASSEMBLIES AND COMPUTER-EXECUTABLE CODE FOR AIMING A FIREARM
Disclosed are methods, circuits, components, apparatus, devices, assemblies and systems for imaging. According to some embodiments, there may be provided a sight for a firearm to assist in aiming the firearm towards a target in a field of view of the sight. A target view optical assembly introduces additional light information to light passing from an objective-side aperture to a viewing-side aperture. A display array assembly renders and collimates the additional light information coupled into the passing light. And a controller causes a display array of the display array assembly to dynamically render a targeting reticle, wherein a location of the dynamically rendered targeting reticle on the display is a function of a distance to an intended target.
Holographic sporting/combat optic with reticles recorded at different distances
A holographic sporting/combat optic may be mounted to weapon. The holographic sporting/combat optic includes a laser diode, a holographic recording element and one or more optical components arranged in a housing. In response to a light beam incident thereon, the holographic recording element projects a composite, multidimensional reticle image into the optical viewing window. Of note, the holographic recording element has two or more reticle elements recorded thereon which form the composite reticle image. Each of the two or more reticle elements is captured at a different distance from the weapon during different exposures of the holographic recording element.
Explosive tube having air gap and method of blasting bedrock using same
An explosive tube having an air gap and a method of blasting bedrock using the same, comprising: a filling tube having a filling space which is to be filled with explosives; and an air tube, the upper part of which is connected with another tube to form an air gap space therein, and which has an insertion hole formed on the bottom of the air tube to introduce the explosives into the filling space, the air tube being integrally formed on the filling tube. A plurality of tubes filled with explosives are connected with each other and inserted into blasting holes formed through bedrock to break the bedrock by blasting the explosives. By forming an air gap in the upper part of the tube.
Aiming and alignment system for a shell firing weapon and method therefor
A system and method for aiming and alignment of a shell firing weapon includes a portable aiming unit that may be located in close proximity to the weapon that includes a reference head for emitting and/or receiving at least one energy ray. The portable aiming unit can be aligned to a reference azimuth, either absolute or relative. A sighting unit is also included in the system and removably mounted to the weapon. The sighting unit includes a reference head that is complementary to the reference head of the portable aiming unit. The at least one energy ray established between the portable aiming unit and the sighting unit provides an accurate relative reference of directing the weapons fire and monitoring linear and angular displacement of the weapon as it is fired so that corrections can be made in aiming the weapon in response thereto.
FIREARM GAS DISCHARGE DEFLECTOR
An accessory for a firearm includes a deflector structured to alter a path of discharge gasses and/or debris after such gasses and debris pass a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) of the firearm. The LCI indicates a presence of a cartridge within a firing chamber of the firearm, but openings within and around the LCI also provide a path for hot gasses and debris to strike accessories, which causes fouling and other deterioration.
Method and system for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device
A method of aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least three reference points are superposed within a first target area with at least three diverging beams of the superposition device. Positions for at least three of the reference points are noted. A projectile is shot from the projectile device at a second target area, while the positions of the at least three reference points are maintained, to create the point of impact. The point of aim for the projectile device is adjusted to correspond with the point of impact while the positions of the at least three reference points are maintained. A system for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is also disclosed.
CAMERA SIGHT DEVICE FOR A WEAPON
A camera system having a sight device, with a housing configurable for securing about a weapon, the camera connects with a smart phone device for displaying an image from the sight device for accurately targeting with a weapon.
CAMERA SIGHT DEVICE FOR A WEAPON
A camera system having a sight device, with a housing configurable for securing about a weapon, the camera connects with a smart phone device for displaying an image from the sight device for accurately targeting with a weapon.
