Accessory Mount System
An accessory mount system for connection to a rear sight block (RSB) of a Kalashnikov pattern firearm includes a locking insert that has a projection which extends in a first direction. The projection is adapted to be received within a first recess of the RSB for connection thereto. An adapter body is connected to the locking insert and has a projection that extends in a second direction opposite the first direction. The projection of the adapter body is adapted to be received within a second recess of the RSB for connection thereto. A mount body is connected to the adapter body and has an accessory interface which is adapted to connect to an accessory. An adapter body is secured with a push-pivot pin securely wedging the projection of the adapter against an internal wall of the RSB.
TARGET SIGHT MOUNT
An accessory mounting system for securing an accessory to a firearm includes a slot in a first end of a receiving portion of the firearm, a tab protruding from one end of the accessory, the tab structured to mechanically engage with the slot, and a fastener structured to clamp a portion of the accessory to the receiving portion of the firearm in a location apart from the slot.
ELECTRONIC WEAPON ACCESSORY AND DETACHABLE MOUNT WITH INTEGRATED CONTROL APPARATUS
An electronic weapon accessory system includes an electronic weapon accessory, such as a light, and a detachable mount with integrated controls. The electronic weapon accessory includes an electronic component, such as an LED, and a power source disposed within a housing. The electronic component and the battery are electrically connected with a circuit having electrical contacts exposed on an outer surface of the housing. The mount has a body with a clamp structure, a switch disposed on an outer surface of the mount body and a circuit having electrical contacts exposed on the outer surface of the mount body. Fasteners removably secure the mount body and accessory housing in assembled relation. When the electronic weapon accessory and mount are assembled, the accessory electrical contacts physically and electrically engaging the mount electrical contacts to complete an electronic control circuit and provide integrated control and operation of the electronic accessory.
Mountable light having interchangeable clamping elements
A mountable light includes a light body and a mounting arrangement including first and second clamping members from a set of pairs of clamping members. The light body has first and second opposing receptacles in which the respective clamping members are respectively removably disposed to move toward and away from each other. One clamping member may be fastened in its receptacle so as to be a fixed clamping member while the other clamping member is movable. A clamping mechanism may move the clamping members closer together to engage a mounting rail or away from each other to release the rail. An interchangeable key member may be provided between the clamping members, and may be selected from a set of interchangeable key members.
CLIP-ON RIFLESCOPE DISPLAY CLAMP
A clip-on display for mounting to a riflescope may include a clamp member. The clamp may include first lateral member. The clamp may include a second lateral member spaced apart from the first lateral member. The clamp may include a collar that extends between and couples the first lateral member and the second lateral member. The clamp may include a first clamp arm and a second clamp arm. Each of the first clamp arm and the second clamp arm may include a fixed end that extends from the first lateral member and a free end that is coupleable with the second lateral member to tighten the respective clamp arm. The clip-on display may include a beam splitter coupled with the clamp.
CAMERA MOUNT SYSTEM
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. The camera mount system can include, for example, a first optical element and a second optical element. Incoming light from a scope on a weapon, for example, is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the first optical element. The partially transmitted light passes through an eyepiece to a viewer (e.g., a shooter). The partially reflected light is reflected by the second optical element and is recorded by a recording device (e.g., a camera, a video recorder, an image sensor, etc.). The viewer has direct access to the scope optics, a spotting scope, or binoculars, for example, and the camera and the viewer have access to the same view.
Pistol mounted light and operation thereof
A flashlight for use with a pistol, the pistol having a trigger guard and a mounting rail. The flashlight includes an elongated housing having a spring arm clamping mechanism for mounting to the mounting rail, a light source at one end thereof, and paddle switches at an opposing end.
MOUNT FOR A FIREARM
A mount for a firearm has a body having a first clamp configured to engage a first edge of the rail, a jaw movably connected to the body and having a second clamp opposed to the first clamp and operable with the respective clamps to engage respective opposed lateral edges of the rail, a spring biasing the jaw toward the body, and at least a portion of the spring being between the clamps. There may be a pushrod connected to a first one of the body and the jaw and slidably received by the other of the body and the jaw. The spring may be laterally positioned to one side of the pushrod. The spring may be a coil spring having a spring axis offset from a pushrod axis defined by the pushrod.
INTEGRATED WIRELESS PUSH-TO-TALK AND ILLUMINATION MODULE
A module adapted for attachment to a firearm includes a PTT accessory for a radio frequency communication device separate from the module and an illumination element. The PTT accessory and illumination element each have associated activation buttons, which are preferably differentiable from one another by their shape and/or method of activation. The module is adapted to be fitted to the firearm so that either or both of the activation buttons is/are accessible by a user when holding/gripping the firearm, for example, in proximity to an expected position of a user's strong hand index finger or other finger used for the trigger of the firearm when the user is holding the firearm.
