Camouflage for transmission towers and lines

The present disclosure relates to camouflaged systems and related camouflaging methods. The camouflaged systems can include at least one camouflaged object, including but not limited to transmission lines and transmission towers. One or more surfaces of the camouflaged object can be configured to appear like (e.g., match, mimic, simulate, correspond to, or otherwise blend with) an environmental condition, which can include any variety of background environmental landscapes. For example, one or more surfaces of the camouflaged object can be painted, coated, or imparted with a texture such that they reflect light in a way that corresponds to any particular environmental condition.

TURKEY HUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220053754 · 2022-02-24 · ·

Rather than trying to call a gobbler and waiting for the gobbler to approach, the hunter instead attempts to seek a gobbler while holding a decoy. As the hunter comes within sight of the gobbler, he can slowly move (e.g., tilt and/or rotate) the decoy so that its fan moves in a manner that mimics movement of a real turkey. It has been found that the gobbler will often fixate on the decoy failing to notice the hunter even when he is not well camouflaged. In fact, the gobbler will often approach the decoy in an aggressive manner making it much less wary than in a typical hunt where a hunter is attempting to make calls that imitate a hen. When the hunter feels that the gobbler is fixated on the decoy, he can couple the decoy to his weapon thereby freeing both of his hands for operating his weapon.

CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN SCHEME FOR CAMOUFLAGE PATTERNS ON OBJECTS
20170299341 · 2017-10-19 ·

A camouflage object including a body having an area and a camouflage pattern placed in the area. The camouflage pattern is formed by at least two first bands extending in the same first running direction across the area and having a first length, where the at least two first bands include a first perceptible characteristic and at least one second band extending in a second running direction across the area and having a second length, where the at least one second band includes a second perceptible characteristic. The at least one second band at least partially overlaps the at least two first bands. A plurality of zones is formed by the intersection of the at least two first bands and the at least one second band and have a pattern formed by the combination of the first perceptible characteristic and the second perceptible characteristic.

Device for camouflaging an object from infrared and low light cameras

A device is provided for camouflaging an object from an infrared detection apparatus. The device includes a cloak positionable between the object and the infrared detection apparatus. The cloak includes a layer of infrared absorptive material including a plurality of silicon nanowires. A flexible substrate has a first surface operatively connected to an inner surface of the layer. The substrate includes a heat dissipation arrangement for dissipating heat generated by the cloak during operation. An array of infrared emitters is operatively connected to a second surface of the substrate. The array of infrared emitters selectively radiates an infrared pattern to disguise the object to the infrared detection apparatus.
