Collapsible Bag Target
A bag target and a method of manufacturing the bag target configured to substantively decrease in size for storage, shipment and/or display. The bag target is further configured to absorb and dissipate essentially all of the kinetic energy of a high energy projectile such as an arrow or a crossbow bolt.
Archery backstop
An archery backstop includes a collapsible frame used to receive a front board and a rear board. The front board is formed from a medium density fiberboard while the rear board is formed from an extruded polystyrene insulation. The frame is collapsible about a pair of hinges formed on the frame, allowing the frame to be folded in half when transported. A pair of magnetic locks disposed on the frame maintains the backstop in a collapsed position, while a rotatable locking mechanism disposed on the frame maintains the frame in an open position during use. The frame further includes an adjustable hanger bar support to allow for various configurations and placements of a target to be attached to the backstop.
DARTS SCORING METHOD
A method of determining a score of a dart in a play surface of a dartboard using a plurality of cameras facing the dartboard is provided, wherein a direction of view of each of the plurality of cameras is at a non-zero angle relative to a plane containing the play surface of the dartboard, the method comprising: calculating a homography matrix for each camera within the plurality of cameras, the homography matrix being for transforming an image of the dartboard captured by the respective camera from a view of the respective camera to a front-view of the dartboard; capturing a first image of the dartboard using each of the cameras at a first time, and capturing a second image of the dartboard using each of the plurality of cameras at a second time, the second time being subsequent to the first time, and the dart being in the play surface of the dartboard at the second time; producing a plurality of differential scoring images by comparing each first image to the second image captured by the respective camera; using at least two of the differential scoring images with their respective homography matrices to determine a location of intersection between the dart and the play surface of the dartboard; and determining a score based on the determined location of intersection.
Dart game apparatus
A dart game apparatus includes a target mechanism, a first support frame, a second support frame and an adjustment mechanism, an end of the first support frame is detachably connected with the target mechanism, an end of the second support frame is rotatably connected with the target mechanism, and the adjustment mechanism is arranged between the first support frame and the second support frame to adjust an included angle between the first support frame and the second support frame.
Athletic training data collection dynamic goal and personified sporting goal method apparatus system and computer program product
A computer implemented personified sporting goal apparatus, system, method and/or computer program product may provide electronically and programmably controlled personification attributes to a sporting or intermediary goal. Certain embodiments include robotic, animatronically moveable appendages, emotions, and/or gestures, via audio, visual, or enhanced features. A personified sporting goal apparatus can include: sporting goal device, including processor(s); memory coupled to the processor; input or output device(s) coupled to the processor; a sporting goal; a personified feature, attribute, or movement; and user interface coupled to the device, including: a display device, the input device, the output device, a keyboard, or a touchscreen, and is configured to: enable a user to interact with the sporting goal device; receive a selection of a sporting goal routine; or receive instructions to control the sporting goal device. Embodiments include a robot, display(s) and/or speech bubbles.
Archery targets
An archery target may allow target practice and/or simulate the shape of one or more animals. In various implementations, archery targets include a target body, a frame, and/or an overlay. A target body may include a first aiming zone, which protrudes from a first surface of the target body, and a second aiming zone, which protrudes from a second opposing surface. In some implementations, the first aiming zone and/or the second aiming zone may be off center. In some implementations, each aiming zone may be associated with an animal or group of animals. The orientation of the target body may be altered to select an aiming zone of the target body based upon user preference, in some implementations. The overlay may have shape similar to a predetermined animal. The overlay may be replaceable. A frame may at least partially support the target body and/or the overlay.
Method of manufacturing dartboard by grass stem
A method of manufacturing a dartboard by grass stem includes the steps of rolling grass stems and removing insect eggs, binding the grass stems into a bundle and then cutting the bundle into grass stem cakes, compressing the grass stem cakes into a target body of the dartboard, fixing a backplane of the target body coated with an adhesive, an insect repellent, and a preservative, and flattening a target surface before performing a printing process and a baking process, so as to prevent the dartboard from being damaged by insects and mildews.
Projectile target for archery practice
A projectile target preferably for archery practice is provided, which includes an improved construction for assembling the target and capturing arrows and other similar projectiles while preventing the arrows and similar projectiles from penetrating entirely through the target and projecting through or exiting the opposite side of the target. The target may be provided in a two-sided configuration with target patterns on both opposite faces of the target body. The main target body preferably is formed of a layered construction with at least first and second target layers which are joined in facing relation to form the main target body. The first and second target layers form first and second halves of the main body, which are joined together in facing relation to define a central plane in which a puncture resistant middle layer section is formed.
Air disc target
A collapsible, packable, and throwable aerial target of a disc-like shape, the aerial target comprising a circular body and an outer ring around periphery of the circular body, wherein the outer ring is in the form of a hollow tubular annulus that is divided into a plurality of sections, and each of the plurality of sections houses a plurality of pellets. The pellets are thoroughly filled in the outer ring sections to provide weight to the aerial target, but not overfilled to prevent flexibility, such that the aerial target can be folded and packed.
Feedback device for ejecting items upon hitting target surface
A feedback device which ejects items upon hitting target surface is provided, including a target body, a bull's-eye, a flagpole, a first spring, and a second spring. The target body has an installation cavity, and an installation hole is provided at the center of the front face of the target body. The bull's-eye is configured to be telescopically movable within the installation cavity and extends through the installation hole. The flagpole is also configured to be telescopically movable within the installation cavity and extends outward from the target body. The flagpole is detachably connected to the bull's-eye. The first spring is positioned within the installation seat and drives the bull's-eye to extend forward. The second spring is located within the installation cavity and drives the flagpole to extend outward. This allows players to quickly determine whether the bull's-eye has been hit, providing convenience and enhancing enjoyments of shooting games.
