Disclosed are a dart game apparatus and a dart game system including an image projector according to exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. The dart game apparatus and the dart game system including the image projector may include: a sensing unit sensing hitting of a thrown dart pin; a dart target allowing the dart pin to be received; a display area formed to surround an exterior of the dart target, provided in a body structure of the dart game apparatus, and receiving an image projected from an image projector to output a variable screen; an image projector projecting the image toward the display area; and a controller controlling operations of the dart game apparatus.

A dart catching device for catching darts that fail to adhere to a dartboard includes a tray, which is mountable to a vertical surface upon which a dartboard is positioned. The tray is mounted below the dartboard and extends substantially perpendicularly from the vertical surface. The tray can catch a dart that is thrown at the dartboard, but which fails to adhere to the dartboard. The device can prevent damage to the dart that might occur should the dart drop to a horizontal surface beneath the dartboard.

According to one embodiment of the present invention for implementing the objective above, a method for determining cheating in a dart game is disclosed. The method for determining cheating in a dart game may include: collecting game data and multimedia information of a player from a dart game device; transmitting the collected game data and multimedia information to a client device; receiving, from the client device, feedback information related to legitimacy of play with respect to the multimedia information; and processing the game data of the player corresponding to the multimedia information, on the basis of the received feedback information related to legitimacy of play.

According to one embodiment of the present invention for implementing the objective above, a method for determining cheating in a dart game is disclosed. The method for determining cheating in a dart game may include: collecting game data and multimedia information of a player from a dart game device; transmitting the collected game data and multimedia information to a client device; receiving, from the client device, feedback information related to legitimacy of play with respect to the multimedia information; and processing the game data of the player corresponding to the multimedia information, on the basis of the received feedback information related to legitimacy of play.

A target stand has a generally level bottom surface having at least one protrusion or cavity sized and shaped to leave an impression in an impressionable surface and a top surface having a plurality of wells configured to receive target supports. The plurality of wells may be configured to receive wooden stakes. The one or more protrusions or cavities may be shaped like animals or animal feet, such as pig's feet. The one or more protrusions may be sized and shaped to leave impressions of letters in the impressionable surface.

A sports-inspired dart game and method of playing the dart game are described. Embodiments of the sports-inspired dart game can include, but are not limited to, a dart board including indicia of a field of play, a mat including distance markers from which players throw darts, and a plurality of game pieces removably coupled to the dart board and implemented as targets and anti-targets on the dart board. Different rules can be implemented for a particular sports-inspired game being played.

A system for scoring darts that includes multiple cameras placed substantially parallel to the surface of a dartboard. With a field of view extending across the board, the cameras can be configured to capture images of darts projecting outwardly from the board as they are thrown, and the system can use this image data to calculate the location of each dart, and the corresponding score. Various algorithms may be used to orient the system and calibrate the system to account for irregularities in the images captured by the cameras to accurately determine the location. Proper scoring may be achieved for a variety of dartboards with different patterns of scoring regions based on game rules and corresponding board configurations maintained by the system.

A disclosed hanging target may include a hanging bracket and a plurality of suspension lines coupled to the hanging bracket. The hanging target may also include a plurality of target holders. A destructible target may be disposed above and carried by a target holder allowing a portion of each suspension line to extend outward around the destructible target. When the destructible target is destroyed by a projectile that hits the destructible target, the portion of each suspension line may rebound to the generally vertical orientation.

A target system for projectiles comprises a support system, a primary target, and a secondary target. The support system defines a support portion. The primary target comprises a target portion defining a front side and a rear side, a hanging portion, and a clip arranged on a rear side of the target portion. The clip is adapted to engage the secondary target to secure a secondary target relative to the primary target. The hanging portion is adapted to engage the support portion of the support system to support the primary target at a desired location.

A target system for projectiles comprises a support system, a primary target, and a secondary target. The support system defines a support portion. The primary target comprises a target portion defining a front side and a rear side, a hanging portion, and a clip arranged on a rear side of the target portion. The clip is adapted to engage the secondary target to secure a secondary target relative to the primary target. The hanging portion is adapted to engage the support portion of the support system to support the primary target at a desired location.
