Water penetrating dart
A water penetrating blowgun dart is provided. The blowgun dart has a funnel removably attached to a tail end of the dart shaft so that upon contact with a water surface, the funnel moves from an engaged configuration to a disengaged configuration. The tail end may provide a slot for snugly receiving an eye, wherein the tail end and the eye have cooperating grooves so that when in the engaged configuration, the eye and tail end are secured with a filament that slightly protrudes from the flush outer surface of the shaft and eye. The protruding filament frictionally engages the funnel in the engaged configuration so that the funnel remains engaged with the shaft prior to hitting the water's surface.

Dart launch apparatus with an open top magazine and a dart restrainer in the launch chamber and method
A dart launcher and dart magazine for alleviating improper dart placement concerns with a forward matching dart profile. The dart magazine is short and does not extend into the launch chamber of the launcher. The magazine has an open top with a dart restrainer that is moved when the magazine is inserted into the launcher causing an upper-most dart in the magazine to be biased out of the magazine and into the launch chamber. The launcher includes a dart placement structure in the launch chamber to locate the upper-most dart. The dart placement structure may be shaped as an arm allowing positioning of each dart also free of the magazine while facilitating automatic firing of the darts from the magazine.
Dog bone shaped projectile and slingshot
A dog toy includes a projectile and a slingshot. The projectile is configured to fly through the air while resembling a dog bone. Accordingly, the projectile has a first and second visual pair of bulbous portions disposed at the leading and trailing ends. The trailing end is also shaped as fins for stability in flight, whereas the leading end is heavier in mass. A pair of hooks are at the leading end. A finger grip is attached near, to or formed as part of the trailing end and allows a user to grip the projectile with a user's fingers. The slingshot includes a handle configured to be gripped by the user. A pair of prongs extend from a handle top and form an opening. An elastic band is connected to each prong. A hand guard protects a portion of the user's hand during use.

A dog toy includes a projectile and a slingshot. The projectile is configured to fly through the air while resembling a dog bone. Accordingly, the projectile has a first and second visual pair of bulbous portions disposed at the leading and trailing ends. The trailing end is also shaped as fins for stability in flight, whereas the leading end is heavier in mass. A pair of hooks are at the leading end. A finger grip is attached near, to or formed as part of the trailing end and allows a user to grip the projectile with a user's fingers. The slingshot includes a handle configured to be gripped by the user. A pair of prongs extend from a handle top and form an opening. An elastic band is connected to each prong. PROJECTILE WITH SINGLE-PIECE MAIN BODY
A projectile, such as a railgun-launched projectile, includes a single-piece body that is additively manufactured. The single piece body includes fuel within it, and one or more cavities for receiving an oxidizer. The body also defines one or more combustion chambers therein for combustion of the fuel and oxidizer as part of a divert thruster system. Thus the projectile is able to fully contain the divert thruster system within the single-piece body without using any hot gas seals as part of the system. The body may also define a cavity for receiving a pressurized fluid, used as part of a cold-gas attitude control system of the projectile. The body may also define passages between the pressurized fluid cavity and other parts of the attitude control system, such as valves and/or nozzles that are outside of the body, for example being aft of the one-piece body.
Projectile for Toy Gun
A projectile for a toy gun includes an enclosure having a light transmission property, at least one light emitting unit provided within the enclosure and configured to emit light, a magnetic switch provided in the enclosure and configured to detect magnetism, and a control unit provided within the enclosure and configured to control a light emission of the at least one light emitting unit, wherein the control unit controls the at least one light emitting unit to start emitting the light when the magnetic switch detects the magnetism.
Foam Darts
The present invention generally relates to an improved foam dart that operates with improved accuracy. The shaft of the foam dart is shaped with indentions that direct airflow around the dart to improve its accuracy. The dart tip is also connected through a rigid neck portion that further improves the accuracy of the dart during use. An alternative embodiment allows the user to place a pop cap within the dart tip that will explode to cause a loud bang when the dart contacts a hard object at the end of its flight. Side vents direct exhaust gases away from the target to improve safety.
MAMMAL AND FISH BIOPSY DART
A dart for use in gathering a tissue sample from an animal is disclosed. The dart has an adapter base for fastening to an elongated dart delivery shaft. The adapter base has a distal threaded end. A dart tip is threaded onto the adapter base. The dart tip has a sharpened tubular end portion for entering through skin of an animal and a cylindrical chamber portion for receiving and holding at least part of a tissue sample. The chamber portion has a proximal portion adapted to be removably fastened to the distal threaded end of the adapter base and a distal portion merging with the sharpened tubular end portion, wherein the dart tip is configured to hold and retain the tissue sample received within the chamber portion while the dart tip is withdrawn from the animal.
