Fragmentation pattern, optimized for drawn cup warheads with a dome and cylindrical wall
Provided is a frangible munitions device optimized for a dome and cylinder that yields fragments having shapes corresponding to a predetermined embossment pattern upon explosive rupture. The embossment pattern includes a first set of inner regular hexagonal embossments formed into the dome and cylinder that are aligned with the axis of the cylinder, and a second set of outer pre-deformed hexagonal shapes that distort to produce regular hexagonal shapes after drawing into the cylinder wall. The second set of shapes are separated by sharp transition regions. The shapes are embossed in a repeated pattern around the hollow cylinder and the dome top. The dome yields a plurality of fragments having shapes corresponding to the first set of inner regular hexagonal embossments upon explosive rupture, while the cylinder yields a plurality of fragments having shapes corresponding to the second set of outer pre-deformed hexagonal embossments upon explosive rupture.

Grenade with independently detachable carpel segments
Disclosed herein is a grenade with a plurality of independently detachable carpel segments each containing a charge and independently detonated from other carpel segments. The grenade may include a head section with a triggering mechanism, and a modular hollow core with a rod having an upward mechanical bias towards the head section, which may include a safety pin, lever, and pivot. When the pin is pulled, a lever can be released after timed delay, and the release of the lever allows the rod to advance upward, which triggers strike pins that strike a primer which ignites a propellent that ejects a carpel segment from the core. The propellent simultaneously ignites a fuse in the body of the carpel segment, and the fuse triggers a detonation of the main charge in the carpel. Timed delays on the fuse can be used to cause the carpel segments to detonate at different times.

FIREARM PROJECTILE USABLE AS A HAND GRENADE
A projectile includes a body containing pyrotechnic material. A rear cap closes a rear end of the body. A pyrotechnic unit includes an ignitor in communication with the pyrotechnic material. A striker is arranged to strike a primer of the pyrotechnic unit. A safety lever is arranged initially to restrain movement of the striker towards the pyrotechnic unit. An external safety keeper is arranged initially to clamp a portion of the safety lever to the body.

DRONE ADAPTER FOR DROPPING SPOON-BASED DEVICES
A system and method allowing spoon-based devices to be carried and dropped by a drone. The preferred embodiments are adapted for use with a drone having a retracting drop shaft release mechanism. First and second adapter portions are provided. These clamp around the body of a spoon-based device and hold the spoon-based device. The lower regions of the first and second adapter portions are joined by a pivot joint. The upper regions each include an engagement feature such as an upstanding tang portion. These first and second tang portions are engaged to the drone's release unit.
Fuze for stun grenade
A stun grenade includes a fuze assembly secured to a housing adjacent gas outlet ports. The fuze assembly includes a fuze body having contact surfaces located in the flow path of the gas from the outlet ports so that gas flowing from the outlet ports impinges on the contact surfaces. The contact surfaces of the fuze body extend at an angle of no more than about 50 degrees to the first direction.
