The device comprises an annular cut-off cone sleeve slidably disposable over the front part of the projectile. The diameter of the narrower end of the annular cone sleeve is slightly larger than the diameter of the front part of the projectile and the length of the annular cut-off cone sleeve is larger than the distance between the front end of the rear part of the projectile and a location on rear part having a diameter equal to the diameter of the rear end of the annular cut-off cone sleeve.

Thermomechanical active hazard mitigation capsule

A thermomechanical safety device includes a body and a capsule valve mounted in the body. A volume of auto-ignition material is disposed in the capsule valve, which is moveable between a rest position and a firing position. A spring engages the capsule valve and the body, and biases the capsule valve towards the rest position. A temperature sensitive actuator engages the capsule valve and the body. The temperature sensitive actuator moves the capsule valve between the rest position and the firing position in response to a change in temperature. The temperature to cause the temperature sensitive actuator to move the capsule valve between the rest position and the firing position is less than the ignition temperature of the auto-ignition material.

The server is configured to receive data corresponding to a symbolic encoded identifier marked on ammunition, receive data corresponding to a purchaser of the ammunition, associate the data corresponding to the symbolic encoded identifier with the data corresponding to the purchaser of the ammunition, receive data corresponding to a retrieved ammunition casing, and compare the data corresponding to the retrieved ammunition casing with the data corresponding to identification of the ammunition. Upon matching the data corresponding to the retrieved ammunition casing with the data corresponding to identification of the ammunition, the server is configured to transmit the data corresponding to the purchaser of the ammunition.
