Surveying system with image-based measuring
A method for image-based point measurement includes moving a surveying system along a path through a surrounding and capturing a series of images of the surrounding. A subset of images are defined as frames and a subset of frames are defined as key-frames. Textures are identified in first and second frames and are tracked in successive frames to generate first and second frame feature lists. A structure from motion algorithm is used to calculate camera poses for the images based on the first and second frame feature lists. Corresponding image points in images of the series of images are identified using feature recognition in at least a plurality of images. Three-dimensional coordinates of the selected image point are determined using forward intersection with the poses of the subset of images in which corresponding image points are identified. The three-dimensional coordinates of the selected image point are presented to the user.
Surveying system with image-based measuring
A method for image-based point measurement includes moving a surveying system along a path through a surrounding and capturing a series of images of the surrounding. The three-dimensional coordinates of the selected image point are presented to the user.
Surveying system
A surveying system for a construction site has a restricted antenna system with a plurality of fixed location antennas each defined by a set of location data associated with a specific deployment position. The surveying system also has a computing device with a data processor and a display screen. A communications module establishes a data transfer link with the restricted antenna system over which spatial data for distances between current positions of the computing device and one or more of the plurality of fixed location antennas are received. The computing device is loadable with project drawings corresponding to the construction site and displayable on the display screen. A position marker is overlaid on the display of the project drawing at a position thereon corresponding to a computing device location value derived from the spatial data and the location data of one or more of the fixed location antennas.
Surveying system
A surveying system for a construction site has a restricted antenna system with a plurality of fixed location antennas each defined by a set of location data associated with a specific deployment position. Geodesic system and method of use
A geodesic system for measuring the position of a target when the target is obstructed from view by a station. The geodesic system includes a rod fastener positioned on a housing axis for selectively coupling a housing to a survey rod, wherein the housing axis is collinear with a rod axis centrally-positioned within the survey rod when the system is coupled to the survey rod. The system further includes a cuboid-shaped station-scope for viewing the station along a station-line extending between the system and the station and for viewing the target along a target-line extending between the system and the target. The station-scope includes a mirror equally bisecting the station-scope. The housing axis equally bisects the mirror at an intersection of the station-line and the target-line. The station further includes a rangefinder for aligning a laser with the target, the laser having an origination point along the housing axis.
Two-line laser emitter
A two-line laser emitter is provided. The two-line laser emitter includes a housing, a laser emitter base mounted inside the housing, an elastic clamping member, a laser emitter and a pair of rotation adjustment screws. The laser emitter base has a laser emitter mounting hole. The laser emitter is mounted in the laser emitter mounting hole, and one end of the laser emitter is inserted into the elastic clamping member. A pair of rotation adjustment screws are disposed in the laser emitter base and located on the same side of a central axial plane of the laser emitter. The pair of rotation adjustment screws abut against a side wall of the laser emitter in opposite directions on the same straight line. Each of the rotation adjustment screws is adjustable to slightly adjust a rotation angle of the planar ray of light emitted by the laser emitter.
Virtual reality control system
According to one aspect of the present invention, a virtual reality control system for providing a chemical accident response training content includes a sensor detecting a light signal, a display displaying an image, at least one controller controlling the display, and a simulator displayed as a valve in the image, wherein the controller is configured to acquire first position data related to the user and second position data related to the simulator based on the light signal, acquire first virtual position data indicating a character corresponding to the user and acquire second virtual position data indicating the valve, and display the character and the valve on the display and display a gas within a predetermined distance from the valve, wherein at least a portion of the gas is not displayed when the character moves while at least a portion of the character is in contact with the valve.
Measuring device with measurement beam homogenization
An optical measuring device having a base for placing the measuring device and a targeting unit that is rotatable with respect to the base and defines a target axis for targeting a target object that is to be measured. The targeting unit has a first beam path for emitting optical measurement radiation in the direction of the target object that is to be measured. The targeting unit furthermore has a diffractive optical element (DOE), which is arranged or arrangeable in the beam path such that the optical measurement radiation is homogenized.
Auto-length pole
A surveying pole system comprising a surveying pole including two telescopic sections for providing length adjustability. At a first end of the surveying pole, a pointing tip is disposed for positioning on a target point of the environment. At a second end, a length reference point is disposed. The surveying pole also includes a locking mechanism for locking the length adjustability in respective lock-in positions. Each of the lock-in positions provides a corresponding distance between the pointing tip and the length reference point. A plurality of coded identifiers have a predetermined code associated with one of the lock-in positions. The surveying pole also includes a coded-identifier reader for reading the code of a respective coded identifier associated with the respective lock-in position, a communication device configured for transmitting a signal to a surveying instrument, wherein the signal is based at least on the read code.

A surveying instrument for executing a relocation functionality, which determines first coordinates of a stationary target point associated with the start signal, in response to a start signal, a first actuator and a second actuator are controlled such that the stationary target point remains within a detection area of a tracking unit of the surveying instrument, determines second coordinates of the stationary target point, receives an end signal, wherein the second coordinates of the stationary target point are associated with the end signal, and based at least in part on the first and second coordinates of the stationary target point, and determines a relative pose of the surveying instrument with respect to a first setup location and a second setup location, wherein the first setup location is associated with the first coordinates and the second setup location is associated with the second coordinates.
