The present invention relates to a positioning module and a driving control device of carrier unit with the positioning module. In the present invention, the positioning module calculates the unwinding length and unwinding angle of a wire which is unwound by an external force. Then, the positioning module sequentially calculates location information of some points on the wire and the speed of the wire. When the speed exceeds the threshold value, the positioning module generates a control signal corresponding to the number of times where the speed exceeds the threshold value, by using the unwinding length and the unwinding angle.

The present invention relates to a positioning module and a driving control device of carrier unit with the positioning module. A method of connecting a user device anonymously to a remote operator, via an intermediate anonymizing server is described. In this way, a remote operator may control the device, without the remote operator knowing the identity of the owner or of user of the device. A remote operator might provide medical support or entertainment. The user of the device is provided with a connection key, which is then further given by the user to a desired remote operator. Both the user and the remote operator provide the anonymizing server with the connection key. The anonymizing server opens a chat room uniquely associated with the connection key. Electronic connectivity is provided by forwarding messages between the user device and the remote operator through the chat room. No other access to the chat room is permitted. The anonymizing server does not store the connection key. No user application is required.

The adjustable device includes a specially configured alignment plate, a coupling shaft, a spherical joint, and a plurality of fixing bolts and adjustment screws that are disposed symmetrically on the adjustment plate and radially offset from the shaft rotation axis. The fixing bolts and adjustment screws are generally disposed the same radial distance from the central rotation axis.

A measurement system for determining an angular position of a component of a gas turbine engine includes one or more proximity sensors positioned at a fixed structure of the gas turbine engine and one or more sensor targets positioned at a rotatable component of the gas turbine engine. Each sensor target of the one or more sensor targets includes a target surface having a variable distance between the target surface and the proximity sensor with rotation of the rotatable component about a component axis of rotation. A measurement of distance between the proximity sensor and the target surface as measured by the proximity sensor is indicative of an angular position of the rotatable component relative to the component axis of rotation.

A device menu controls connector for a process automation field device include a field device part and a removable knob assembly. The field device part includes one or more Hall effect sensors, and the knob assembly includes one or more magnets. When the knob assembly is attached to the field device part, the knob may be rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise, or may be pushed or pulled. The interaction of the magnets and Hall effect sensors allow the field device to sense the rotation and the pushing and pulling of the knob.
