Easily adjustable stroke sensor and method for installing the same
A method for installing a stroke sensor is provided such that the stroke sensor can be easily adjusted using a simple process. The method has the steps of; obtaining a relationship between the magnetic field and the indicator value while moving the magnet in the first direction relative to the magnetic field detecting element within a predetermined relative movable range, and writing the relationship in the processor; after the relationship is written in the processor, preventing the predetermined relative movable range from being shifted in the first direction by means of a jig for preventing positional shift, wherein the jig includes an element that fixes relative positions between the magnetic field detecting element and the magnet; attaching the magnet and the magnetic field detecting element, which have been prevented from being shifted, to different structures that are movable in the first direction relative to each other, and removing the jig.
CRYPTOGRAPHIC TRANSDUCER CALIBRATION SYSTEM FOR HOSE ASSEMBLY TEST BENCHES
A testbench system is disclosed. The system includes a network interface; a memory storage; a transducer; and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to operate in a first phase and: perform calibration of the transducer and generate calibration data; generate a unique identification (CTS-ID) for the transducer based on the calibration data; mark the transducer with the CTS-ID; and provide the CTS-ID and the calibration data to the network interface for transmission to a database.
MAGNETIC SENSOR WITH ERROR SIGNALING CAPABILITY
A magnetic sensor may include a comparator to receive a first signal indicating a strength of a magnetic field sensed by a first sensing component of the magnetic sensor, receive a second signal indicating a strength of a magnetic field sensed by a second sensing component of the magnetic sensor, perform an error check associated with the first sensing component and the second sensing component, the error check being performed based on the first signal and the second signal, and provide an indication of a result of the error check. The magnetic sensor may include a protocol encoder to receive the first signal, receive the indication of the result of the error check, and provide an output that includes the indication of the result of the error check.
Systems and methods for detecting magnetic turn counter errors with redundancy
Systems and methods for detecting magnetic turn counter errors with redundancy are provided. In one aspect, a magnetic field turn sensor system includes a magnetic field angle sensor having a sine bridge and a cosine bridge and first to third comparators configured to compare the outputs from the sine and cosine bridges. The system further includes a processor configured to receive outputs from each of the first to third comparators, determine that a combination of the outputs from the first to third comparators corresponds to an invalid state, and indicate a fault in response to determining that the combination of the outputs from the first to third comparators corresponds to the invalid state.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR REMOTE INTERACTION WITH PORTABLE FIELD MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT
Example systems are described for remotely interacting with a portable field measurement device. Systems can include a controller that can: couple to a mobile device; receive user input from a user through the mobile device; cause the portable field measurement device to execute the operations directed by the user; electronically record data output from the portable field measurement device resulting from the directed operations; and report the data to the user via the mobile device, and/or to a remote electronic database. In some embodiments, a robotic arm can be used to actuate the portable field measurement device.
Bridge sensor error check
A method for detecting an error in a bridge sensor which is adapted for measuring a physical parameter. The method comprises biasing a first contact pair of the bridge sensor at least two times in a first direction and at least one time in a second direction opposite to the first direction; while biasing the first contact pair, measuring an output signal on a different contact pair of the bridge sensor, thus obtaining at least three output measurements which are representative for the physical parameter and which are separated by time intervals; combining the output measurements to obtain an output value which is indicative for an error in the bridge sensor, wherein the output measurements which are combined are only those output measurements which are measured when biasing the first contact pair.
