20230313623 · 2023-10-05 ·

A drilling fluid flowback tracking system and method for determining quantities and qualities of drilling fluid returned from the wellhead in drilling operations, providing a frame, a receiving pipe, a riser pipe, and a surge suppressor for conveying returned drilling fluid, a tapered fluid bin having a calibrated drain slot, which retains fluid at a level corresponding to the inflow rate of the fluid, and flow rate marks for visual correlation of the highest level of outflow with the flow rate of the inflow. Collection and retention of data is further provided through sensors in an inline sensor housing communicating through a data cable with a data collection unit. Remote access to the data collection unit is further provided through a data transceiver and remote data unit.

Apparatus for delivery of a predetermined amount of solid and gaseous carbon dioxide

Compositions and methods are provided for a system in which liquid carbon dioxide, or a mixture of liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide, is converted to solid carbon dioxide by exiting an orifice at a sufficient pressure drop, e.g., for delivery of carbon dioxide to a concrete mixture in a mixer.

Resource consumption measurement system and method

A system is disclosed to obtain energy consumption data for an energy monitored property. An identification module is configured to identify, based on first actual energy usage data for the energy-monitored property, one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future time periods when energy consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal within the energy-monitored property. A calibration module is configured to transmit electrical signals to open and close at least one of the gas valve and an AC unit switch in accordance with the calibration schedule during a period of time within the one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future periods of time. A computational module may be utilized to calculate a first computed flow rate for the at least one of the gas valve and the AC unit switch. A method and computer program product related to the foregoing system are also disclosed.

Disclosed is a method and a device for detecting a non-condensable portion of a medium, which has at least one condensable portion and is present at least partially in gaseous form, wherein in a first method step a temperature measuring device measures a temperature of the medium and a pressure measuring device measures a pressure of the medium, wherein in a second method step a ratio of the pressure to temperature is formed by means of an electronic measuring/operating circuit and this ratio is compared with a desired ratio of a desired pressure and a desired temperature, and wherein in a third method step the electronic measuring/operating circuit outputs a report in case of a minimum deviation of the ratio from the desired ratio.

Disaggregation of Gas Load to Determine Meter or Service Under-Sizing
20230273053 · 2023-08-31 ·

Techniques determine if a gas service (e.g., piping and/or meter) is under-sized for the customer's needs. In one example, flowrate information corresponding to gas usage at a service site over a first period of time is obtained. The flowrate information is disaggregated to determine an expected flowrate associated with each of two or more appliances having generally fixed-rates of gas consumption. Flowrate information is again obtained, corresponding to a second period of time. The second flowrate information is compared to one or more combinations (i.e., summations) of the expected flowrates associated with each of the two or more appliances. Based on the comparison, it may be determined that the service site is not appropriately sized. In an example, failure to detect two fixed-rate of gas-consumption appliances operating at their respective fixed-rates at the same time may indicate that the service cannot provide gas at a sufficient flowrate.

Fluid Transport Device And Method For Manufacturing A Fluid Transport Device

A fluid transport device includes a conduit unit having a wall for separating an inside from an outside of the conduit unit. The device also includes an energy supply unit coupled to the conduit unit and configured to provide electrical energy based on a temperature gradient between the inside and the outside of the conduit unit. The device also includes a monitoring unit configured to monitor a state of the conduit unit and to generate data representative for the state of the conduit unit. The energy supply unit supplies the electrical energy to the monitoring unit, thereby enabling the monitoring unit to monitor the state of the conduit unit. A method for manufacturing a fluid transport device is also described.
