Automatic humidification system for a dispensing head of a dosing machine of fluid products
11951503 · 2024-04-09 · ·

A humidification system of a dispensing head of a dosing machine of fluid products, where the dispensing head includes a closing device having a cup, which can be moved between a distal inoperative position and an operative position where the dispensing head is isolated from the environment. The humidification system automatically generates a humid environment inside the cup, in the proximal position of the closing element, by means of a Peltier cell inserted in a forced flow duct of ambient air. The condensed and/or frosted water from the Peltier cell is fed from a collecting tank to the cup of the closing element automatically through a control unit.

Purgeable pharmaceutical fill needle

The present invention involves a fill needle system for aseptically dispensing a pharmaceutical fluid in an aseptic chamber comprises a fill needle tubing in fluid communication with a pharmaceutical fluid source via flexible tubing and extending through a fill needle hub; a fill needle dispensing tip disposed at a dispensing end of the fill needle tubing; a fill needle sheath shaped and arranged to removably mate with and seal aseptically to the fill needle hub to form an aseptically sealed volume enclosing the dispensing tip; and a fluid pressure pulse induction system disposed and configured to compress the flexible tubing in order to dislodge droplets of pharmaceutical fluid retained on the dispensing tip after halting dispensing of the pharmaceutical fluid. An associated method of dispensing pharmaceutical fluid comprises operating the fluid pressure pulse induction system to dislodge the droplets. The system may comprise a controller for automatically controlling the dispensing and droplet dislodging.

Gas driven fluid transport

Fluid transport approaches are described that operate without the need for precise displacement of an actuator and with little or no sensing in the flow path. In certain implementations, a gas phase in a fluid reservoir is compressed by a pressure source such that releasing the pressure, such as by opening a valve to an intermediary conduit, displaces fluid to the intermediary chamber. Closing that fluid path and opening a different fluid path to a chamber at ambient temperature causes the fluid to be displaced to the chamber.

Measuring adapter assembly for closed loop fluid transfer system

A measuring a closed-loop fluid transfer system is provided that includes a measuring adapter having a first end and a second ends, and a chamber located there between and configured to hold a volume of fluid. The measuring adapter includes a first receiving valve assembly located at the first end of the measuring adapter. The first receiving valve assembly includes a receiving valve member, at least a portion of which is separable from a portion of the first receiving valve assembly. This creates an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber when a force is exerted on the receiving valve member of the first receiving valve assembly. A second valve assembly located at the second end of the measuring adapter includes a valve member. At least a portion of the valve member of the second valve assembly is separable from a portion of the second valve assembly to create an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber.

An improved modulated particulate metering system is provided. The system includes a plurality of particulate storage areas, each having a separate type of particulate. The system can include varied configurations of a plurality of cartridges in communication with one of the particulate storage containers. The system can further include varied configurations of a plurality of gearboxes operably connected to the cartridges. The gearboxes can be adapted to be inverted and operably controlled by one or more drive shafts. The system can still further include varied configurations of a plurality of particulate accelerators in fluid communication with an air flow path having one inlet. The system permits a user to efficiently alternate between desired configurations based on the needs of the application.

Flow sensor based on electrical capacity

An electric measurement method and apparatus for detecting a mass by an electric capacity (permittivity) or a material's dielectric constant, or alternatively, electric inductance (permeability). The mass may be any phase or combination of phases. The mass may be stationary or flowing. It may comprise discrete particles such as grain, or manufactured products such as ball bearings or threaded fasteners, etc. The mass may be a flow element in a rotameter or similar flow measurement device. The sensor comprises a volume which may be completely full or only partially full of the material. The material may be discrete components or a continuum. Sensor signals may be received by existing planter monitoring systems. In some embodiments the flow sensors are positioned external to the application port. In some embodiments sensors may be utilized which are responsive to the refractive index variation of specific chemicals.
