TESTING METHODOLOGY TO MONITOR THE ON-SET OF SOLID ACID HYDROLYSIS USING SONIC WAVES
A method for testing solid acid hydrolysis in a formation. The method includes introducing a test sample into a test cell, where the test sample includes an upper structure, a lower structure, and a solid acid disposed between the upper and lower structures. The pressure and temperature of the test cell are increased to simulate downhole conditions. A velocity of an acoustic p-wave and/or acoustic s-wave is through the test sample is measured while the temperature is increasing from an initial temperature to a final temperature. A temperature of onset of solid acid hydrolysis based on the measured velocity is determined.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INDICATING FUTURE NEED FOR PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OF RANDOM-USE DISPENSING
A method and device for indicating whether a dispensable product will require refilling prior to the next scheduled service interval includes tracking the amount of use over a first interval, and calculating a frequency based from the use over the first interval. The quantity remaining is compared with the required amount, which is the product of the number of weeks in the service interval and the calculated frequency. Thus, when the quantity remaining is less that the required amount, a warning will be provided to indicate that the dispensing product should be replaced, as it will be empty before the next service interval.

GLUE INJECTING DEVICE AND APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A glue injecting device includes a glue container, a piston, a magnetic component, and a detection alarm assembly. The glue container defines a cavity for receiving glue materials and an outlet opening communicating with the cavity. The piston is received in the cavity for extruding the glue materials from the outlet opening. The magnetic component is arranged on the piston. The detection alarm assembly comprises an electromagnetic sensor and an alarm. The electromagnetic sensor configured to detect a position of the magnetic component is sleeved on the glue container and is close to the outlet opening, the alarm is electrically connected to the electromagnetic sensor and is configured to issue an alarm when the position of the magnetic component detected by the electromagnetic sensor is flush with the electromagnetic sensor. The disclosure also provides an apparatus having the glue injecting device.
DEVICE FOR STORING AT LEAST ONE BULK MATERIAL
The invention relates to a device for storing at least one bulk material (35), said device comprising: a container (30) in which said bulk material, selected from the group composed of liquids and powdered materials, can be introduced, said container having a lower face (31) suitable to be able to be subjected to the weight of said bulk material introduced into said container, a force measuring device comprising at least one force sensor (1) arranged beneath the base (31) of said container (30) and in contact with said base (31), each force sensor and the base of the container being arranged such that said force measuring device is only partially subjected to the weight of said bulk material introduced into said container.
Smart 1 touch
A method and device for conveying tracking and communicating information concerning a dispensed fluid, the device including a measured dispensing device attached to a flexible collapsible container, the device including a sensor for measuring a physical property relating to the dispensing operation, and a communication device configured to communicate information determined by the sensor to a remote device.

DOUBLE AUGER METERING APPARATUS
An apparatus comprises a hopper housing, a first auger, a second auger, a dividing panel, and a motor. The hopper housing holds a bulk material, with the hopper housing including a first end at which the bulk material is added to the hopper housing and a second end comprising a discharge opening at which the bulk material exits the hopper housing. The first auger is disposed proximate to the discharge opening. The second auger is disposed between the first end of the hopper housing and the first auger. The dividing panel is disposed between the first auger and the second auger and the dividing panel is coupled to the hopper housing at the first side thereof and forming a panel opening between the hopper housing and the second side thereof. The motor rotates the first auger and the second auger to move the bulk material into the discharge opening.
INDUSTRIAL METERING APPARATUS WITH A HINGED WINDOW
An industrial metering apparatus includes a hopper, a metering mechanism, a discharge opening, a window, a hinge, and a locking mechanism. The hopper includes a housing to contain a bulk material. The metering mechanism is coupled to the hopper and meters a quantity of the bulk material leaving the hopper. The discharge opening is coupled to the metering mechanism and discharges the metered quantity of the bulk material. The window covers an opening through the side of the housing. The hinge couples the window to the housing such that the hinge allows the window to hingedly open to allow access to the opening through the side of the housing and hingedly close to substantially prevent the bulk material from escaping from the hopper. The locking mechanism locks the window in a closed position to substantially prevent the bulk material from escaping from the housing of the hopper.
