FIELD DEVICE, MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A field device (10) includes a detector (11) that detects a physical quantity and outputs a detection signal, a controller (121) that calculates, based on the detection signal, data for a measured trend indicating a temporal change in a parameter used for predictive diagnosis of the field device (10), and a memory (122) that stores the data. The controller (121) stores the data in the memory (122) at time intervals from the start time of measurement in the field device (10) to the current time and executes a compression process on the data stored in the memory (122) upon the amount of the data stored in the memory (122) reaching the upper limit of the storage capacity of the memory (122).
CONNECTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING
A connecting device is provided, including a control apparatus, an energy storage apparatus, an input connection, and an output connection, the input connection being connected to the energy storage apparatus by means of a charging apparatus, the charging apparatus being configured for controlled charging of the energy storage apparatus, the control apparatus being configured, after reaching a preset charge state of the energy storage apparatus, to connect the energy storage apparatus to the input connection; and the control apparatus also being configured, during and/or following connection of the energy storage apparatus to the input connection, to connect the input connection to the output connection.
Fluid flow device with sparse data surface-fit-based remote calibration system and method
A method for calibrating a product valve disposed along a flow path in a duct, with a calibration valve in a duct remote from the product valve and having a geometric shape and operational parameters corresponding to those of the product valve. A calibration controller establishes calibration conditions and, in responsive thereto, generates a calibration flow rate (CFM) function by measuring for the calibration valve, a sparse set of flow rates and determining a surface-fit mathematical representation of fluid flow through the calibration valve over applied calibrated flow rates and the measured pressure drops. The CFM Function is transferred to a product blade controller, which in turn, processes the representation of the mathematical surface, and controls fluid flow through product valve based on values extracted from the received CFM Function as well as at least one parameter control signal indicative of a desired set point.
Container
A container used in daily life comprises a container main body, and a pressure channel composed of a pressure transmission channel, a removal channel and an outflow channel connected in series. The pressure channel, attached to a wall of the container main body, has one end in communication with the removal channel and the other end connectable to a pressurizing component provided externally. The pressure transmission channel transmits pressure exerted on the inside of the pressure transmission channel by the pressurizing component provided externally, via a pressure transmission medium inside the channel. A wall of the removal channel is provided with a one-way valve allowing the contents to flow into the pressure channel. The one-way valve opens at the bottom on the inside of the container main body. The outflow channel is used for flowing out the contents from the container and preventing the contents flowing back.
Flow meter device
A flow meter device includes plural fluid passages which are provided between an inlet section into which a fluid flows and an outlet section from which the fluid flows out, and through which the fluid flows and flow value measuring units installed in the plural fluid passages, respectively. The flow value measuring units are configured to measure flow values of the fluid flowing through the fluid passages. The flow meter device further includes a control unit configured to determine whether or not to cause one or more of the flow value measuring units to stop a measuring operation of the flow value based on the flow values measured by the flow value measuring units. The control unit is further configured to determine whether or not to cause the one or more of the flow value measuring units to resume the measuring operation of the flow value, based on the flow value measured by the flow value measuring unit as a monitoring measuring unit which is other than the one or more of the flow value measuring units and is activated to perform the measuring operation of the flow value.
Augmented flowmeter with a system for simulating fluid parameters
The present invention relates to a flowmeter for monitoring physical parameters of fluid passing through the flowmeter. The flowmeter being installed in a plant and communicatively connected through a gateway device to a server having a virtual model. The flowmeter comprising: a processing unit for computing a first processed data of a physical parameter associated with the fluid measured by the flowmeter. The flowmeter receives a second processed data from the server having the virtual model, wherein the virtual model provides the second processed data by computing the second processed data based on the first processed data and data from at least one sensor provisioned in the plant. The present invention also provides for a system for monitoring physical parameters of fluid passing through a pipe in a plant with the flowmeter.

SINGLE SERVE DISPENSER FOR A POWDERED NUTRIENT
The dispenser disclosed herein serves a single serving of a powdered nutrient contained within a container having multi-servings of the powdered nutrient. The dispenser has a metering device that operates as a ball valve or guillotine to dispense a single serving of the powdered nutrient into a water container. The dispenser also has a support surface that can be lowered and raised back up in order to fit a water container under the metering device and a distal tip of the metering device into a mouth of the water container so that no powdered nutrient spills out of the water container during transfer of the powdered nutrient from the metering device to the water container.
