DIGITAL DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR FLOWABLE COMPOSITIONS
20180104712 · 2018-04-19 ·

Example embodiments relate to a power-driven, digitally metered dispenser where cylindrical piston driven jar dispensers of varying diameters are used for transferring repeatable and specific amounts of flowable composition into smaller containers, like HRTicker dispensers, applicators, pumps, syringes, and jars. Dosing is accomplished by dialing the desired dosage and the pressing of a push-button to dispense. The various example embodiments consist of a motor powered threaded plunger that travels in the vertical axis in accordance with a predetermined and programmed linear displacement. The end user dials the desired dispensation into the computers program via a main control dial.

Food portion weight scale
09903751 · 2018-02-27 ·

The food portion scale is a device that allows for the measurement of individual portions of foodstuffs before a foodstuff is physically portioned. The foodstuff is a scale wherein the platter of the scale is mounted on a fulcrum. The foodstuff is then placed on the food portion scale such that the fulcrum passes underneath the foodstuff dividing the foodstuff into two portions. The food portion scale independently measures the weight of each portion of the food stuff as it is divided by the line of the fulcrum. The foodstuff is then scored along the line of the fulcrum. When the foodstuff is later cut into portions along the score line, the foodstuff will be portioned into portions that match the previously measured weights. The food portion scale comprises a platter, a fulcrum, a plurality of load cells, a plurality of displays, a housing, and a control system.

This invention relates to a combination scale including an ejector to be supplied with compressed air to ventilate a central cabinet of the combination scale, wherein an interior of the central cabinet and a suction port of the ejector are connected to and communicating with each other.

Automated product profiling apparatus and product slicing system using the same

An apparatus for acquiring a profile of a food product for use in subsequent processing of the food product includes a scanning area and one or more product drives for driving a product through the scanning area in a longitudinal direction. First line lasers project one first transverse laser line transversely to the longitudinal direction on the first surface and two first cameras arranged to capture different, overlapping first transverse image portions of the first transverse laser line. A reference laser projects a beam on the first surface that indicates a transverse reference position, and the two first cameras also capture the reference position. A control system uses the transverse reference position to combine the different first transverse image portions captured by the two first cameras to calculate a first profile of the first surface at multiple positions along a length of the first surface as the product is driven through the scanning area.
