Device and Method for measuring the mass of a polarisable fluid in a container

A method and a device for determining the amount of fill volume in a container. A mass of polarizable liquid in a container is positioned within the measurement region of a shielding antenna and a measuring pulse antenna. The shielding antenna is connected to both a measuring device that measures a time-dependent voltage value of an external interference signal and to a compensation signal generator that generates a time-dependent compensation signal compensating this interference signal. The measuring pulse antenna is connected to both a measuring pulse generator that generates a polarization signal to transmit to the fluid fill in the container and to a second measuring device that measures a response signal to derive the mass of the fluid from said response signal.

Various embodiments described herein provide a blockchain ledger-based supply chain that allows many commercial and regulatory entities to independently cooperate. Every transaction is permanently and transparently recorded within a chain-of-custody; the chain-of-custody enables a traceability. A variety of new applications are enabled by the blockchain ledger-based supply chain.

The platen may include a visual identifier for identifying a portion of the field of view of the image capture device. The platen may also include a tackifier or absorbent material. The platen may be formed of a light-transmissible material.

The system includes an inner leg mount configured to be attached to a leg, the inner leg mount having an upper portion, and an outer bracket mounted on the load cell. The outer bracket receives the inner leg mount such that a bolt aperture in the outer bracket aligns with a bolt aperture in the upper portion of the inner leg mount and is secured with a threaded bolt. Rotation of the threaded bolt moves the inner leg mount toward the outer bracket to lift the leg so that the leg is supported by the load cell.

A visible light camera may also be provided, for example a color digital camera, for documenting other parts of the compounding process. The device may have other sensors, for example a bar code scanner and a weight sensor, for collecting other data about the compounding process. In one example implementation, the device is a compounding assistance device that leads a user of the device through a compounding task using instructions shown on a display. In other implementations, the device may be robotic.

This system is for implementing a method for feeding of a granulated substance, and is provided with: a feeding path through which cut tobacco is fed toward a tobacco band in a cigarette manufacturing machine; a separation device for separating, by winnowing, the cut tobacco into good products and sub-standard products that are heavier than the good products, in the process of feeding the cut tobacco; an adjustment device that is capable of directly and/or indirectly adjusting the velocity of a current of air used for separation through winnowing; a transfer path which receives and transfers the sub-standard products discharged from the separation device; a weighing device which takes a sample of the sub-standard products being transferred on the transfer path and measures the weight of the sampled sub-standard products and outputs the weighing result; and a controller which, on the basis of the weighing result, controls the operation of the adjustment device so as to bring the sampling weight equal to a target value being the management standard.
