DE-REVERBERATION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH MICROPHONE
Provided are a de-reverberation control method and apparatus for a device equipped with a microphone. The method includes: reverberation parameters which indicate, at respective moments, reverberation levels of a room environment where the device is located are acquired from an audio signal played by the device; and a de-reverberation mode adopted by the device is dynamically adjusted according to the reverberation levels indicated by the reverberation parameters at different moments and preset correspondences between reverberation levels and de-reverberation modes. By adopting a dynamic de-reverberation mode, the method and the apparatus disclosed herein significantly improve the rate of the recognition of a device for the voice of the user.
ESTIMATION OF REVERBERANT ENERGY COMPONENT FROM ACTIVE AUDIO SOURCE
Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to a estimation of reverberant energy components from audio sources. A method of estimating a reverberant energy component from an active audio source (100) is disclosed. The method comprises determining a correspondence between the active audio source and a plurality of sample sources by comparing one or more spatial features of the active audio source with one or more spatial features of the plurality of sample sources, each of the sample sources being associated with an adaptive filtering model (101); obtaining an adaptive filtering model for the active audio source based on the determined correspondence (102); and estimating the reverberant energy component from the active audio source over time based on the adaptive filtering model (103). Corresponding system (800) and computer program product (900) are also disclosed.

Method and Device for Quickly Determining Location-Dependent Pulse Responses in Signal Transmission From or Into a Spatial Volume
A method and device for determining the location-dependent pulse responses in signal transmission from a transmitter in a transmission volume to a receiver in a reception volume, wherein either the transmitter or the receiver is a device fixed in a predetermined location and the other is a movable device includes: continuously emitting a band-limited signal by the transmitter; continuously capturing the signal and recording the signal with time indexing by the receiver; moving the movable device during the emission and capturing of the signal along a trajectory within the transmission or reception volume while continuously capturing the location coordinates of the movable device and recording the location coordinates with time indexing; and numerically solving a linear system of equations, the unknowns of which system of equations represent the pulse responses at discrete sampling points in the transmission or reception volume associated with the movable device.

Sound field control system, analysis device, and acoustic device
A sound field control system SY according to the present invention is provided with: a signal supply unit 210 which supplies a test signal sequence to a speaker; and an analysis unit 150 which picks up a sound including a test sound sequence emitted from a speaker based on a test signal sequence using a microphone, and which determines the sound pickup time of an initial test sound among test sounds included in the test sound sequence, wherein the analysis unit 150 detects the initial sound from the sound pickup signal picked up using the microphone, determines whether a sound is detected after the elapse of a sound emission interval, from the sound pickup time of the detected initial sound, between the initial test sound defined by the test signal sequence and an n-th (where n is an integer such that n2) test sound emitted from the same speaker as the initial test sound, and, upon determining that the sound has been detected, determines the sound pickup time of the initial sound as the sound pickup time of the initial test sound.
Calibration method and system
The present invention concerns a method for calibrating an array of receivers (r.sub.j), each receiver being configured for receiving a signal transmitted by at least one transmitter (s.sub.i), and echoes of the transmitted signal as reflected by one or more reflective surfaces (w), said method comprising the following steps: sorting said echoes, by assigning each echo to a reflective surface or to a combination of reflective surfaces (w) calibrating said array of receivers (r.sub.j) based on said sorting.

Managing a set of devices using a set of acoustic emission data
Disclosed aspects relate to managing a set of devices using a set of acoustic emission data which indicates device-health of the set of devices. The set of devices is coupled with a set of acoustic emission sensors. Based on the set of acoustic emission data, a triggering event related to a first device of the set of devices is detected. Using the set of acoustic emission data, an event response which includes a first modification with respect to operation of the first device is determined. Establishment of the event response which includes the first modification with respect to operation of the first device is initiated.
