Acoustic array signal processing for flow detection
Disclosed are tools, systems, and methods for detecting one or more underground acoustic sources and localizing them in depth and radial distance from a wellbore, for example, for the purpose of finding underground fluid flows, such as may result from leaks in the well barriers. In various embodiments, acoustic-source detection and localization are accomplished with an array of at least three acoustic sensors disposed in the wellbore, in conjunction with array signal processing.
Rotor diagnostic apparatus, rotor diagnostic method, and rotor diagnostic program
A rotor diagnostic apparatus includes a parameter selection part that calculates evaluation values indicating how much sensor values of a rotor at a given time point deviate from a reference value at which the rotor is known to be in a normal state, the given time point being after the rotor is known to be in the normal state and before the rotor is to be diagnosed, and selects a plurality of parameters to be used for abnormality diagnosis of the rotor from the sensor values based on the calculated evaluation values. A diagnosis part outputs an abnormality value which is indicative of how abnormal the rotor is and which is obtained based on a distance, in a multidimensional space having the selected parameters as coordinate axes, between a figure represented by sensor values in the normal state and a figure represented by sensor values targeted for diagnosis.

VIBRATION MEASUREMENT DEVICE
Provided a vibration measurement device for a rotary tool held by a tool holder that is coupled with a spindle and axially rotates in cooperation with the spindle. The vibration measurement device includes: a pair of acceleration sensors attached to a horizontal plane with respect to a rotary axis of a rotary tool in a manner symmetric to the rotary axis; an amplifier circuit that matches impedance of acceleration information from the acceleration sensors and amplifies voltage; a low-pass filter that removes predetermined high frequencies from an output signal of the amplifier circuit; and a subtraction circuit and an addition circuit that output a parallel vibration signal in an XY direction and a vibration signal in a rotational direction, respectively, from the output signal of the low pass filter.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus that estimates a hit feeling of a golf ball, includes a characteristic amount obtainment unit configured to obtain a characteristic amount of a striking sound which an estimation target ball generates as a sound source upon the estimation target ball being struck and an estimation unit configured to estimate a hit feeling of the estimation target ball based on correlation information and the characteristic amount obtained by the characteristic amount obtainment unit. The correlation information indicates correlation, for a plurality of kinds of test balls, between a hit feeling which a testing golfer feels at the time of striking a test ball and a characteristic amount of a striking sound which the test ball generates as a sound source upon the test ball being struck.

Steam-using facility monitoring system
Suitability of an operational state of a steam-using equipment is accurately estimated to allow for early detection of a sign of abnormality in the steam-using equipment. A steam-using facility monitoring system (M) comprised of a steam-using equipment (4) includes a control state detector (D1) that detects a state of a steam controller (1) provided in a steam pipe (2) accompanying the steam-using equipment (4), and an operational state estimating means (S) having a signal input unit (S1) that inputs a detection signal (σi) from the control state detector (D1) and an operational state estimation unit (S2) that estimates the operational state of the steam-using equipment (4) based on one inputted detection signal (σi) or a preset particular combination of detection signals (σi).
