Total air temperature probe with concave flow path transitions to outlet
A total air temperature probe includes a housing including an inlet scoop, an outlet, a main airflow passage extending from the inlet scoop to the outlet, an exit that extends through the housing, and a total air temperature sensor flow passage and a sensor assembly positioned in the total air temperature sensor flow passage. The main airflow passage includes an upper inlet surface extending from the inlet scoop, a lower inlet surface opposite the upper inlet surface and extending from the inlet scoop, an upper outlet surface extending from the upper inlet surface to the outlet, and a lower outlet surface opposite the upper outlet surface and extending from a split point in the housing to the outlet. The total air temperature sensor flow passage branches off from the main airflow passage and extends to the exit. The upper outlet surface is consistently concave toward the outlet.
Sensor device and a method of current modulation switching using a two-wire current interface
A sensor device includes a two-pin current interface including an input pin configured to draw an input current and an output pin configured to output an output current, a sensor configured to generate a measurement signal, and a current modulator configured to generate a current pulse as the output current such that the output current toggles between at least two main current states based on the measurement signal. The current modulator is configured to modulate the output current such that the output current is increased, to a first current level greater than the at least two main current states, at an initial phase of the current pulse for a first duration, and to modulate the output current such that the output current is decreased, to a second level less than the at least two main current states, at a terminal phase of the current pulse for a second duration.

Thermochromic optical waveguide temperature sensors
In one embodiment, a temperature sensor includes an optical waveguide having a distal tip and a thermochromic sensing element mounted to the distal tip of the optical waveguide, wherein light transmitted through the optical waveguide to the distal tip is reflected back from the thermochromic sensing element and wherein the reflected light provides an indication of a local temperature at a location of the thermochromic sensing element.
Voltage measuring system
In a configuration for measuring a signal voltage by a voltage measuring unit through a multiplexer to which signals are inputted from a plurality of sensors including a thermistor, a series circuit which includes the thermistor, a driving resistor and a level shift resistor is connected between a power supply and the ground. A common connection point between the driving resistor and the level shift resistor is connected to an input terminal of the multiplexer.
Air quality measurement system
An air quality measurement system to monitor atmospheric properties at various locations, elevations, and times. The system includes an unmanned aerial vehicle having at least one carbon nanotube sensor for monitoring atmospheric air quality. Measurements of temperature, pressure, moisture, and gas species are obtained. A monitor mounted on the aerial vehicle is in communication with the sensor. A transmitter mounted on the aerial vehicle is in communication with the monitor for transmission of measurement data to a ground position controller.
Deep body thermometer
A deep body thermometer includes a thermal resistor having a predetermined thermal resistance value, first and second temperature sensors that sandwich the thermal resistor in a thickness direction of the thermal resistor, and a temperature information processing unit to acquire a deep body temperature based on the thermal resistance value of the thermal resistor, a temperature detected by the first temperature sensor, and a temperature detected by the second temperature sensor. The first and second temperature sensors are disposed such that the first and second temperature sensors do not overlap each other as viewed from the thickness direction of the thermal resistor and a distance between the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor is greater than a thickness of the thermal resistor.

An abnormal temperature detection system that detects an abnormal temperature in a cable used to transmit power to a electrical device. The abnormal temperature detection system includes first and second conductors that are disposed along a longitudinal axis direction of the cable, and a plurality of temperature-responsive electronic components that are disposed along the longitudinal axis direction of the cable and are electrically connected to the first and second conductors. The first and second conductors and the plurality of temperature-responsive electronic components form an electrical circuit. An abnormal temperature is detected on the basis of an electrical signal acquired from the electrical circuit.
Temperature sensor, temperature measuring device, and temperature measuring method
A temperature sensor, a temperature measuring device comprising the temperature sensor, and a temperature measuring method using the temperature sensor are disclosed. The temperature sensor is disposed at a measurement target having an extremely low temperature and transmits temperature measurement data to a temperature measurement output unit through a lead wire. The temperature sensor includes a housing, an electric resistor disposed in the housing, and a thermal anchor portion disposed inside or outside the housing and connected to the lead wire. Further, the lead wire extending from the thermal anchor portion is connected to the temperature measurement output unit.

The present invention separates radiation from an object by a polarization filter 3 into polarized light beams, causes one of the beams to enter a spectrum analyzer 7 through a first optical path, causes the other to enter the spectrum analyzer 7 through a second optical path, and measures the two-color ratio, while causes radiation of a blackbody 2 placed in a vacuum ultralow temperature thermostatic chamber 1 in a quasi-thermal equilibrium state at an ultralow temperature in vacuo to enter the polarization filter 3 through a third optical path, separates the radiation into polarized light beams, causes the beams to each enter the same optical paths as the respective optical paths for the radiation of the object, causes the beams to enter the spectrum analyzer 7, measures the two-color ratio, and accurately obtains the temperature of the object on the basis of these two two-color ratios.
